m anifold of form s that m ake a characteristic building, w hich appears recognisable and identiable. The architecture
is anchored in both tradition and innovation, through form and m ateriality as an educational arena w here both
past, present and future is relevant for transfer and creation of know ledge. The architecture contains both urban and
rural m aterial references - externally prew eathered zinc covers roof and w alls, w hile sections of the building have
com prehensive use of w ood both indoors and outdoors. N atural lighting is introduced to the building through varied
and appropriate openings.
