Trying the tray in the patients mouth We insert it horizontally than vertically

We take the appropriate dose of water and pouder as prescribed by the manufacturer then we mix it

The alginate should be stored properly to avoid air entrapment

Gentle massage to the muscles of the face

Finally we have upper and lower impressions : 1. No porosities 2. Margins well defined reaching the vestibule 3. Alginate not separated from the tray 4. All the teeth and soft tissues are recorded
