On January 23, 2002, a Federal Grand Jury Subpoena was

served upon UNITED AIRLINES UAL WORLD HEADQUARTERS WHO, 1200
East Algonquin Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and directed to
the attention of CRAIG BUSSEY of UAL Legal Department. The Federal
Grand Jury Subpoena was issued by U.S. District Court, Newark, New
Jersey and requested records and documents relating to UAL Flight
93 on September 11.2001.

JEFF PLANTZ. Senior Investigator-Flight Safety, UAL WHO

accepted the subpoena In behalf of UAL. MR. PLANTZ was sent a copy
of the subpoena by facsimile on January 11,2002 and served the
subpoena on January 23, 2002. As previously discussed with MR.
PLANTZ and this Agent, the records will be provided when obtained
by UAL. MR. PLANTZ explained some of the records will take some
time to obtain and assemble.

JEFF PLANTZ. Senior Investigator Flight Safety, United Airlines, telephone numbeit J provided a
list of identifying markings on the dumpsters that contain the wreckage of United Flight 93. Eight of the
dumpsters are currently In a hanger in Somerset, Pennsylvania. One dumpster is still at the crash site, but will
be moved to the hanger in the near future. The wreckage is the property of United Airlines' insurance
company.
