    Sri Parashurama Sahasranama Stotram - Agni Puranam

    This following is a very rare 1008 names (Sahasranama Stotram) of Lord Parashurama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This hymn is said to be from Agni Mahapuranam although it is not to be found in the print edition. The preface of this hymn mentions that this Sahasranama was created by Lord Rama Himself when he met Lord Parashurama on his way back to Ayodhya from Mithila. Lord Parashurama mentions that one who chants his 1008 names accrues the following benefits: One who chants or listens or make others listen to this Sahasranama gets the benefit of performing thousands of Ashwamedha Yajnas and gets all wishes fulfilled. The chanter begets the Supreme status (emancipation), wealth, fame, valour, happines, progeny and eight Siddhis, etc. One who donates the book containing this hymn to a Vaishnavite after due worship of Lord Parashurama never gets misfotunes like poverty, loss of relatives, etc in the entire clan. Above all, the chanter becomes respected by Lord Rudra and Lord Parashurama themselves
