You

are the new curators of Dandenong High School Museum. You are
responsible for setting up an exhibit on Ancient Egypt after the
archaeological discovery of the tomb of an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh.

YOUR TASK will be split into two parts.

1. Ancient Egyptian Artifact
You will need to create your own version of a Primary Source from
Ancient Egyptian times.
This artifact must represent your given topic.
Your artifact will be on display on opening day of the museum with
your written task.
You will need to create this artifact using time in class and at home
with resources that you are able to gather.

Note: You may be as creative as you like in completing your artifact, however you will
be responsible for sourcing any extra materials that are not provided in class.

2. Information Plaque
Just like any museum, the Dandenong High School Museum requires
that each primary source be accompanied by a written explanation.
Your information plaque should include:
-A description of your primary source.
-Some information about the topic that your artifact represents.
The aim of this task is to teach your visitors all they need to know
about your topic in 300-400 words.
Note: This will require you to undertake some independent research.

This information should be presented on a word document to be

printed out and to accompany your artifact on the opening day of the
museum.
