Dear Hiring Manager: I'm writing to express my desire to work for your organization. I will be graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in February and taking the NCLEX in March. I have completed clinical rotations at many different hospitals in the San Diego area but my hopes remain set on working at the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. During my clinical rotations I came to admire the nursing staff I worked alongside who had previous military experience. I was impressed by their ability to think critically and work seamlessly with other staff. These qualities align with my aspirations to become a leader in the nursing field. All of my clinical instructors were impressed with my nursing skills and highly recommend me. It would be both an honor and a dream to work for a hospital that is dedicated to serving the military and their families. As a wife of a Marine, I have a passion for the military way of life and yearn to serve as an advocate for military families on Camp Pendleton. I believe my background, as both a civilian and as the wife of an Active duty service member, puts me in the unique position to relate to both civilians and service members alike. My experience in nursing program at National University has taught me to provide safe, effective, efficient, and individualized patient care. The program is an accelerated bachelors degree program and required excellent time management and extreme dedication. Despite the accelerated pace of the program, I will have completed over 1000 clinical hours, which, surpasses the clinical components of most of the BSN degree programs in the area. I have excelled in my coursework and currently have a 4.0 GPA in the nursing program and a 3.928 cumulative GPA. I will be receiving the award for highest GPA in my graduating class. My class has also chosen me to be the speaker at our pinning ceremony because of my public speaking abilities and because of my advocacy on behalf of our cohort. I feel that my excellent work ethic, professionalism and dedication to patient-centered care would be of benefit to your organization. Thank you for your consideration, Cami Krabbenhoft
