ovenant Primary Care Vassar would like to welcome Melissa Bauer, NP, as our new provider. With physician supervision offered by Dr. Robert Nettleman, in addition to many of the existing clinical staff youve come to know, our team will provide the same quality medical services previously offered by Dr. Robert Grimshaw. Melissa received her Bachelor of Science from Ferris State University. After providing RN support to Covenant for 18 years, Melissa continued her education and graduated from Saginaw Valley State Universitys Nurse Practitioner program. A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced registered nurse with extensive clinical experience and an advanced degree. NPs provide a full range of services, including: prescribing medications, ordering and analyzing lab work and x-rays, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, performing procedures and more. NPs offer a unique combination of nursing and medical care. They are recognized as expert healthcare providers as more and more people choose NPs to provide their primary care. NPs offer personalized care and counseling by focusing on the whole person when treating a specic health problem. Melissa looks forward to providing personal care for you and your family.
