Course Description This English class that I took the semester was one of the best and more interesting ones I took since Ive been in college because at first I thought the class was going to be simple with reading various old books and writing papers on them. English classes like this are not interesting at all to me. But I was surprised that we were going to be working on a portfolio; at first I thought it was going to be just a simple thing we were going to do that took maybe three classes to complete by telling the class about us. But it was very interesting when I found out that we were going to do three assignments and put them in our portfolio and the class was circled around these three assignments but I didnt mind at all because we received help from our peers in workshops and our professor to make them the best we could. I really liked the idea of peer workshops because I was not new to peer workshops but the ones I was a part of in the past was not the best but in this class the workshops really helped me and I was able to help other to write their papers and conduct their videos. Also another aspect of this class I really enjoyed was the independence that we were given while in the class. For example we were able talk with each other via email or in workshops give freely give our suggestions in groups. And the way that or classes were described and what we needed to turn in by next class was always posted on Moodle really helped me be on time with assignments so nothing was a surprise.
