iCANCERvive my mindset is a project that gives hope to marginalized women who are battling cancer by creating an awareness and donating to cancer patients. Project Brief: Coming from a family that has a history of cancer, it is hard to ignore the fact of how terrible this experience may hold. Going through the process of witnessing the negativity and depression of one with cancer can be very difficult, but with the act of giving or showing your awareness, you could really help in changing the mind sets of people in need. Most cancer patients in the Philippines are marginalized. They do not have the proper care while going through treatment. They feel uncomfortable about the way they look, because people would tend to wonder why theyre bald or pale. These patients are ready to get this over with, not only because it hurts, but also because of their physical appearance. Wouldnt you want to make them feel better about themselves while going through a tough stage in their lives? To help solve this problem, iCANCERvive my mindset will be fundraising ballers that serve as a symbol of hope and awareness for the women who are going through cancer. A second option is that people from the Keys community may also donate bandanas/hats for this good cause. To make this project possible, I will be consulting the hospital where I will be donating for the cancer patients, and I will be communicating with shops in Binondo who will help make the ballers for the fundraiser. I will also be consulting several projects similar to mine such as iCanserve and Project Pink Foundation if I need help or ask other questions. In the process, I will be sending letters to the parents of the middle and upper school students of Keys and advertising around and outside the school for the fundraiser and donations.

Milestones: Consult with teacher KM regarding the project and future plans. Communicate with baller makers, the hospital, and people who have similar projects. Send letters to the Keys community and advertise the project. Collect donations and fundraise in Keys. Give all the donations to the hospital with the cancer patients.

Project Schedule: September -Finalize project. -Communicate with baller makers, hospital, and consultants. October -Send letters to the whole Keys community. -Advertise the project. November -Fundraise ballers in Keys. -Collect donations for the project. December -Give all the donations and money collected to the hospital for the women who have cancer.
