It 'as a 'arm August day( T!e sun 'as out) and t!e irds all got toget!er to sing t!eir songs aloud( *c!ool 'as going to start in a fe' 'eeks so e+eryone 'as trying to en,oy e+ery minute of summer t!at 'e !ad left( T!e day started off 'it! getting ready for c!urc! 'it! t!e family( At c!urc! 'e talked a out forgi+eness and !o' sometimes it-s !ard to forgi+e someone for '!at t!ey-+e done( In t!e end t!oug!) it-s est to forgi+e and mo+e on 'it! your life ecause !olding on to somet!ing is not a good feeling to !a+e '!ile li+ing life e+ery day( T!e dri+e !ome from c!urc! 'as interesting as al'ays( I 'as dri+ing and my rot!er and t'o sisters 'ere in t!e car 'it! me( .!ene+er t!e four of us get toget!er somet!ing !ilarious al'ays !appens( .e laug!ed so !ard a out t!e stupidest t!ings( .e sa' a lady in t!e car ne/t to us ,amming to a country song and it made us laug! so !ard 'e cried( T!e lig!t turned green so it 'as time to say good ye to t!e funny lady and continue t!e dri+e !ome( .e 'eren-t too far from !ome '!ic! I needed safety and strengt! in my life( T!ose t'o t!ings 'ere somet!ing I seemed to ,ust take for granted( I used to ,ust 'ake up e+ery day feeling safe and ne+er really t!oug!t t!at somet!ing could !appen to me( I am so grateful t!at 'e prayed for safety and strengt! t!at nig!t) ecause an !our after t!at my life c!anged in t!e 'orst 'ay(

Accident 1 .e 'ere all cleaning up from dinner and most of us 'ere mo+ing into t!e family room to continue talking and !anging out 'it! e+eryone( I realized t!at sc!ool 'as going to start in a fe' 'eeks and I still needed to get some folders and note ooks( I figured since e+eryone 'as usy toget!er t!at I could run to Target 2uickly and pick some up( .e don-t li+e too far from Target so I decided to go( I kept forgetting to get folders and note ooks so ecause I 'as t!inking a out it I decided to pick some up 2uickly( I told my family '!at I 'as doing and '!ere I 'as going) and t!e last 'ords I !eard from my grandma efore I left t!e !ouse 'as 3Please e careful(4 T!ose t!ree 'ords I al'ays took for granted( I used to ,ust t!ink 35ea!) I-m al'ays careful don-t 'orry a out it(4 I 'ill ne+er t!ink t!at 'ay again( I got in t!e car and !eaded for Target( I made it t!ere and 'alked inside( I found t!e aisle 'it! t!e folders and note ooks and looked at t!em carefully( I 'anted to try and color coordinate ecause I-m 'eird like t!at( I ended up ,ust getting some folders 'it! Accident : !itting me in t!e face) I can still feel t!e car fly ack into t!e street and !earing t!e a'ful sounds all around me( I felt like I 'as in a nig!tmare( T!e car 'as smoking '!ic! of course freaked me out( I t!oug!t t!at it 'as going to lo' up '!ic! of course it 'asn-t ut at t!at time I 'as +ery freaked out( I go out of t!e car and t!e 'oman t!at caused it came up to me( *!e apologized o+er and o+er and s!e couldn-t elie+e I got out of t!e car( *!e t!oug!t for sure I 'as dead or seriously !urt( I stood t!ere on t!e side and s!e told me t!at my foot 'as leeding( I looked do'n and noticed I 'as gus!ing lood( I 'as so scared and in s!ock from t!e accident t!at I didn-t e+en realize I !ad a fe' minor in,uries( T!e 'oman ga+e me a and;aid '!ile I called my parents( 30om I 'as in an accident4 'as t!e first t!ing I told !er( *!e 'as surprisingly calm( *!e didn-t realize t!at it 'asn-t ,ust a little dent in t!e car( .!en I told !er t!e air ag 'as out and I !it a tree s!e freaked out( *!e rus!ed o+er rig!t a'ay and got t!ere ,ust in time for t!e paramedics and police to arri+e( I !ugged !er tig!t and 'e ot! started to cry( I !a+e ne+er een so terrified in my entire life( T!e paramedics !ad me go into t!e am ulance to get me c!ecked out and I ended up !a+ing a fractured 'rist) a cut on my foot) and a mark on my c!est from t!e seat elt( $t!er t!an t!at t!oug! t!ey couldn-t elie+e I 'as okay( *ome!o') I came out of t!at accident 'it! !ardly anyt!ing 'rong( T!ey told me later t!at if I !it more on t!e dri+er-s side I 'ould pro a ly e seriously !urt or e+en dead( I felt +ery lucky at t!at moment) and I am so grateful t!at 'e prayed at dinner t!at nig!t for safety and strengt!( I needed a lot of strengt! after t!at( I could !ardly t!ink or talk 'it!out picturing t!e accident in my mind and 'anting to ,ust urst into tears(
