My Accomplishments-My Goals: Path to Success

Many people nowadays frown upon the youth. Some say theres a lack of motivation or drive. Im lucky to say that Im one of the few that are able to disprove that unfair judgment. Im lucky to say that Im going to be one of the few to break the mold.

hen I was a child! I was so timid and shy. "o one couldve predicted me to have been a leader. #ut! several years later! everyone who doubted me had a surprise coming their way. Im currently the $o%$aptain for my schools mock trial team! and treasurer for both our chapters of &he "ational 'onor Society and ($$)A. It would seem as if being able to manage three totally different groups would be a lot to take on. #ut! its not. *ach organi+ation participates in different things! giving me the opportunity to work and improve different skills. Such as being able to communicate with other members! resolving conflicts! and learning to overcome differences more efficiently. #eing a leader isnt only about ,leading- a group! but also growing as a person. accomplish with time. .utside of school! I like to try and do and as much as I can for my community. *ver since I was granted the opportunity! Ive been volunteering at my past middle school. (or the past three summers! Ive gone back to help the teachers set up their classrooms for the new school year. It feels great knowing Im able to make someones life easier and better. I also know it encourages the teachers to keep going! which is an even better reason to keep doing what Im doing/ Ive also participated in toy and can food drives. It may seem like such a simple task! but doing something that miniscule has such a major impact. "ot many people reali+e that! but I do. (or e0ample! Ive volunteered at my school to help clean up classrooms. It doesnt seem like a serious volunteer activity. Until you take into account the fact that the classrooms maybe get cleaned twice a month1 due to the lack of staff. I believe that by doing anything! big or small! you can make a difference in someones life. &hose things need to be done hich Ive been able to

hat I plan on being is a

psychologist. "ow! Im not 2uite sure which field of psychology I will be going into yet. #ut I do know thats what I dream of doing. In order to achieve those dreams I plan on going to college. I plan on getting my bachelors in psychology! and then my masters in either child psychology or even industrial psychology. I wont stop at just a masters though. Im aiming for a doctorates degree. I want to accomplish all that I can in a career that Ill love. &hen continue it by either opening my own practice or becoming a professor. &hese arent just my dreams! my future plans! my goals! but theyre my future accomplishments. I live in a world! where the youth can sometimes be discouraged. Im fortunate enough to be amongst the adolescents that have ambitions and a future. *ven in a dark world! Im grateful to say that Ive taken the road to success.
