DISTRICT 200 TEACHER MENTORING PROGRAM 2013-2014

The following are the requirements of the mentoring program for new D200 classroom teachers. Keep a portfolio as documentation of attendance and CPDUs.

0-2 In-State Years of Teaching Experience (2 year program)


Friday, August 9th 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon WNHS computer lab 50 hours minimum (50% must be face to face) Required (Mentor and mentee 1 per semester) Due Oct. 18, 2013 and Feb. 21, 2014 Reflection 1 per quarter

3+ In-State Years of Teaching Experience (1 year program)

Due Oct 18, 2013 and Feb. 21, 2014 Individual Continuum of Teacher Development Assist mentee in developing, implementing and monitoring professional goals Training: Sept. 19, 2013 4-5:30 @ WNHS lab Plan Due: 10/17/2013 Final Reflection Due: 5/8/2014 Required for mentors of new classroom teachers from 10:00 AM 12:00 noon on Friday, August 9th@ WNHS computer lab New 3+ Year Mentors are required to attend a full day mentor training on Friday, August 30 Clay PDC Register with T/L dept to secure a substitute CPDUs available
