    French adjectives follow certain rules when changing form to agree with the noun they describe. Adjectives can be masculine or feminine, singular or plural, depending on the noun. Unlike in English, French adjectives are placed after the noun. The most common rule is that the masculine form of an adjective ends in -e and the feminine ends in -e as well.
