BASICS ABOUT ADJECTIVE


adjectives can be masculine and feminine forms, depending on the noun they relate to adjectives can be singular and plural forms, depending on the noun they relate to French adjectives stand AFTER the noun.
French doesn't have suffixes for making comparative and superlative forms (like the -er and -est endings in English)

End in en, -on (for feminine) -en -enne -on -onne ends in -if (for feminine) -if -ve end in -et -et -ette; -et -te Concret Concrte concrete

ending in -el (for feminine)

ending in an e or -s
Do nothing une voiture verte a green car

un livre italien an Italian book une voiture italienne an Italian car
