Greierele i furnica

de Jean de La Fontaine
Jean de La Fontaine (1621 - 1695), poet, dramaturg, romancier,
membru al Academiei Franceze. Celebru pentru fabulele sale, o parte
inspirate din fabulele lui Esop.
Fabula Greierele i furnica este o scurt povestire n versuri
n care sunt scoase n eviden anumite forme de comportament sau
trsturi morale.
Personajele principale sunt: greierele simbol al artei, poet i
cntre, simbol al unei viei senine, lipsite de griji i furnica
simbol al economiei i prudenei, dar i iubitoare de cntec i poezie.

A vzut aa, deodat,
Pornind viscolul s bat.
Nu se pomenea frm
De gnganie sau rm,
i nemaigsind nimica,
Dete fuga-mpleticit
La vecina lui, furnica.
Muuroiul sta cldit,
Plin cu tot ce-ai fi rvnit.
Magazia cu fin
Era subt o rdcin;
i, la rnd, n multe caturi,
Erau saci cu mei pe paturi.

Am rupt opinci i obiele,
De calc de-a dreptul pe piele.
Straie, ce mai am pe mine.
De gol ce-s, mi-e i ruine.

Vreau s rabd, dar s nu mor.

- Cum de ceri cu mprumut?

Zise potrivindu-i baba
Negri-i ochelari cu laba.
- Ce s fac? De mi-e iertat,
Ast var am cntat.
Nopi cu nopi i zi cu zi.
- Ai cntat? mi pare bine!...
Acum joac dac-i vine!
