    The 12 months' warranty shall start from the date of supply and commissioning of the laptops. Warranty covers breakages, malfunctions and breakdowns due to manufacturing defects, but does NOT include physical damages made by the end user. The faulty laptop computers or components found defective during the warranty period shall be repaired / replaced free of cost to the end user the student will bring the laptop to the any Service Center of The Supplier firm during 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on any working day.

    Warranty Terms (for HP Laptops being distributed in Phase 2)

The laptop computers (HP 1000) are under warranty for a period of 12 months The 12 months warranty shall start from the date of supply and commissioning of the laptops The warranty covers breakages, malfunctions and breakdowns due to manufacturing defects, but does NOT include physical damages made by the end user. The faulty Laptop computers or components found defective during the warranty period shall be repaired / replaced free of cost to the end user The Supplier firm i.e. M/s. New Horizon shall repair / restore / replace faulty part of the laptop within 07 working days including the day of intimation In case of any malfunctioning / fault in the equipment, the student will bring the laptop to the any Service Center of the supplier firm during 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on any working day. In case replacement of a part is required, the student is advised to bring the laptop along with its packing box. While handing over the laptop for repair / replacement, the student must ask for Warranty Claim Form (WCF). In case the supplier firm fails to repair / restore the laptop computer within 7 working days, including the day of intimation, the student is required to report the matter to the Deputy Director (Colleges) of the concerned district on Delayed Complaint Form.
