Week 7 Sunday 9th February Fourth Sunday before Lent

The Fellowship of Reconciliation (FoR) is an actively nonviolent peace-making organisation, promoting alternative forms of conict transformation. It is an international organisation, with over 80 branches in 46 countries on ve continents. FoR campaigns against the root causes of conict social, environmental, political and economic injustice. Through its International Peacemakers Fund, FoR provides grants to grassroots nonviolent conict resolution groups, which may not otherwise receive support, in unstable areas affected by violent conict. In the UK, FoR runs events on the theme of peace and peaceful reform, as well as actively supporting disarmament groups and campaigns. A current FoR project, the Drones Quilt, highlights the problems of armed drones and their devastating effects on civilians FoR is striving to highlight the secrecy and iniquity surrounding armed conict and its preparation. FoR is a Christian organisation, outreaching to all faiths and none.
