Long back I now remember my teachers often scolding us students ; Dont by heart like a parrot .

. Well this practice is still practiced by many helpless students due to the harshness of the e amination systems with their capability ha!e no other option but to memori"e literally. #his comment I am writing because I got an e perience a few days back . #he story goes thus$% &ne of my graduated student ' bright' studying higher 'often used to say that' she had to go early to her home with some e cuse in spite of the home work which was gi!en to her. &n en(uiring further she said that she has a parrot which has to be taken care of and is left alone in the house which was locked. #he parrot had been with her right from its birth and she had tended it with care and as days progressed both had become !ery dependent to each other. When she was in the house the parrot was free to mo!e around with restricted height mo!ements ' while she went outside the parrot was put in a cage for safety reasons on the fear of cats or flying of to places and unable to return back. What touched me was that the parrot used to come to her side' sit on her shoulder and start talking whate!er it had understood sweetly which we all know about. When she goes out it would be angrily shrieking and would not touch its food gi!en to it until she returns back. )ow what is the communication going between these two* +ow utterly dependent is; she the teacher and the parrot the student who are in communion*. #he thirsting lo!e of the parrot' its utter dependency' its beautiful e pression' the purity of its lo!e' language no barrier and the care of the teacher together with a inner fear of the welfare of the parrot which is the student is something that can ne!er be measured. #his is a !ery holy connection and symboli"es a great teacher and student relationship.
