Compensation at Whole Foods: They include three elements: 1. Base Salary 2. Cash Bonus 3. Equity

Comparison: Kroger wants to become the market leader and to sustain in the market Kroger is paying more. The company is paying more cash benefit to it CEO rather than non cash benfits. Krogers minority supplier development activities as part of its business strategy. Each of Krogers divisions and buying groups has supplier diversity champions. Under Dillons leadership at Kroger, the company continued a strategy of expanding its middle position and also providing discount grocery at low rate. Wheresas the Safeway wants to gain the customer loyalty and continuously innovating the products by understanding the customer needs and its focus on the long term growth.
