Week 3 The Planets and Their Moons Day 14 Objective: Students will complete iMovie Planet Tour Presentations.

Preparation: Set up class iPads/MacBooks, make sure computer speakers and microphone (builtin or external) are working Materials: iPad/MacBook (Class set) Solar Walk App Internet/School Drive/Network Computer Speakers Built in Microphone or External Microphone iMovie iPhoto Guided Instruction: By today students should be adding text, music, and voice over/narration using a microphone. Students should be in their groups and should have one MacBook per group. As a class, quickly review how to add text, voice over/narration and music to iMovie Presentations. Watch a quick iMovie Tutorial on how to add Voice Over http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ispDOkqr3-8 Independent Activity: After watching iMovie 11 Adding A Voiceover, students should spend the rest of the period adding voiceover, text, music and any other final touches to presentations in their groups. It is recommended that students split up the work. For example, one group member can be writing the text, another group member can add voice over/narration, while the other group member adds music for the presentation. TEAM WORK! Teacher should walk around and check iMovie content and make sure students are covering all aspects of the iMovie Planet Tour Presentations.
