How do you think that the Continental Congress would react to the way current congress is handling things?

Considering that the Continental Congress and the current congress are a group of many minds and backgrounds, there is no precise way to gauge how the congress of old would react to the current situation in Washington considering that there's approximately 124 times more citizens/colonists and almost 10 times more congressmen/congresswomen. Each delegate at that historical congress would represent only about 3434 colonists while today a single congress member could represent 580,000 citizens of the United States. The numbers alone speak for themselves as to how there is a lack of unity in Congress today as compared to the 56 men gathered nearly 240 years ago. In a speculative manner, the members of the Continental Congress will see the current congress divided by political parties and platforms but later understand the current predicament. They would understand that if they were to force all the members to unify, they would be no better than a nobility-influenced Parliament of Great Britain. In some ways, within the murky depths of U.S. politics, the current congress is similar to the Parliament of Great Britain because of the initial support and promotion of a party platform by politicians but the later shifting coalition with other politicians due to certain interest groups, lobbyists, and bureaucracies.
