Financial Life of a Pastor

The Salary you earn as a Pastor really depends on what type of

Pastor you are and the size of the church. Lead Pastors, Executive Pastors, and Worships generally are the ones who earn the highest salary. Depending on the size of the church, salary can range from $15,000-$75,000/year. If you have a mega-church (over 1,500 members) the yearly salary could be higher. Youth Pastors and other associate ministries fall lower on the pay-scale. If the church is healthy and growing and giving increases you can expect to earn the median wage for the area. Smart Churches use a national pay-scale for similar churches located in similar economic climates so they are never oaying people too little or too much.
