* Finding the "Distance" between two points:
r = ( x h) 2 + ( y k ) 2

Example : Plot

( x 4)

+ ( y 2 ) = 25

The formula for a circle is : ( x a ) + ( y b ) = r 2

So the center is at ( 4, 2 )

And r 2 is 25, so the radius is 25 = 5

So we can plot :

( 4, 2 )
Up : ( 4, 2 + 5 ) = ( 4, 7 )
Down : ( 4, 2 5 ) = ( 4, 3 )
Left : ( 4 5, 2 ) = ( 1, 2 )
Right : ( 4 + 5, 2 ) = ( 9, 2 )
The Center :

Now, just sketch in the circle the best that you can !
