C7+ fraction refers to hydrocarbons with 7 or more carbon atoms. API gravity measures relative density of petroleum. Porosity and permeability are related as higher porosity allows for higher permeability. 3) Reservoir types include undersaturated, saturated and gas-cap based on fluid distribution. There are 5 fluid classification systems. Bubble point and dew point define phase boundaries for single component systems.
