It really had an impact on me!

The museum Ive visisted is called The museum of mutilated of World War II. It really had a huge impact one me , because it points out all the unseen part of the war, mutilated soldiers, sent to the war front to protect their country and returned without limbs, or even worse. The exhibition is located in Bucharest, at the National Museum. It contains over 100 corpses of those who fought in the second world war, both from the German side and from the United States side. There are also texts and journals from the war, pointing out the difference between the reality of the soldiers and the reality of those who were not part of the war. The museum also has a special sound system, which recreates the atmosphere of the war, and make you understand better how frightening it was to be on the front, without a knowing if you were to return home dead or alive. The exhibition left a huge impact on me. It seeds , in the viwer, both feeling of joy and sadness, and for those who are not used to seeing dead bodies , or only half part of them it can also create sicness. It is incredible what wars can do, what dead machineries can create, what a bullet, or a bomb , placed well can create from what once was a human being. You can see blood, body parts, brain, hearts, livers and so on from the bodies. An image full of gore! I really did enjoyed the exhibition , though I dont recommand it to weak persons, who get easily scared or cant face the cruel truth.
