    The European Union (as amended) Based on two Treaties of equal value: The Treaty on European Union (TEU); The Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU, i.e. the former EC Treaty, as amended through the Lisbon Treaty).

    Euratom (as amended) Based on the Euratom Treaty. Changes to the present Euratom Treaty can be found in Protocol No 2 attached to the Lisbon Treaty.
