This European Standard was approved by CEN on 1997-05-02. CEN members are
bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which stipulate the

Foreword
This European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC
190, Foundry technology, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either
by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December
1997, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 1997.
Within its programme of work, Technical Committee CEN/TC 190 entrusted
CEN/TC 190/WG 1.10 Technical conditions of delivery to prepare the following
standard:
