Step 1.

Turn on the unit, if the unit lights up locate the breaker and cut power to the unit

Step 2, with a phillips screwdriver remove the 4 screws as indicated by the arrows

Step 3locate the incoming power to the unit as noted below with red circle. The incoming wires should be coming from a hole in the back of the unit and go to the 2 lowest places on the panel, common marked on the panel as O V (usually white) will be on the bottom, incoming power, marked on the panel as 115V is above that, it will probably be a black wire. There may or may not be a grounding wire (usually green). Cut these 3 incoming wires if you are confident that the power has been removed. Place tape or wire nuts over the cut black wire coming out of the wall. Using a small screwdriver loosen the screw holding the wires on the 3rd and 4th from the bottom wires, labeled as tube

Step 4, locate the single regular screw on the right side of the panel, remove the screw, the black panel will now hinge open. Locate the 2 wires coming from the panel, they go to low voltage wire (doorbell wire) cut the doorbell wire.

Step 5: having that side panel open and using a 7/16th socket or pliers remove the 4 screws (in the approximate locations noted below) holding the control unit to the back of the xray unit. Remove the unit.

Step 6, you will now see 4 lag bolts or screws holding the unit to the wall, remove them
