Vertical Teaming PLC Meeting Agenda 1.

. Determine what skills are necessary for each grade level based on testing standards and state standards. Specifically look for holes in the curriculum. a. Math b. Reading c. Science Tie skills to PLC goals, both individual and group 2. Prioritize all the listed skills from each of the content areas. Look for overlap and decide on at least 5 skills that you believe are the most important for a student in your grade level to be proficient in before they move to the next grade level. 3. Decide on ways in which these skills can be taught in each discipline. 4. Agree on a method of note taking that can be consistently taught in all grade level classrooms. 5. Create a presentation, PowerPoint, Educreation, etc. to share your findings with the rest of the staff during the next staff development day. Notes: 7th grade teachers need to align curriculum and goals with 6th grade goals and expectations.
