Purpose & Objective

The purpose of this learning experience is for the infants to explore playing with cars/transportation vehicles in a unique and exciting way! By incorporating cars/transportation vehicles, this learning experience directly relates to the childrens interests. 1. 2. 3. The infants will strengthen their fine motor muscles and abilities as they manipulate the cars and use their fingers/hand to squeeze and feel the goo/jello. The infants will engage their sensory skills as they touch, smell, taste, and see the goo/jello with the cards mixed together. The infants will increase their vocabulary as they learn and practice words related to the learning experience and materials used (i.e. car, plane, truck, jello, goo, etc.).

Introduction & Teaching Strategies

The learning activity will initially be introduced after the outdoor play period in the morning, however it will be introduced again depending on the infants sleep schedules. 1.

Sensory Engagement This teaching strategy will be used through the engagement of using the goo/jello while interacting with the cars/transportation vehicles.

Grab, squeeze, rub, mash, taste, smell, and see the jello while moving the cars/transportation vehicles in anyway that they choose. Behaviour Reflection
