Dr-Rana Faizan Ali Step 2: studied at home (believe me just prepared whole course in 50 days Alhamdulilah, Studied day and night)... joined test system of academy to assess myself in the end. Books were; medicine mainly from first aid used kaplan for reference, many surgery topics were covered while preparing for medicine, rest from Ellis surgery notes and dogar, behavioral by Moaded rana, psychiatry, derma (some topics from kaplan medicine), peads(some topics from pervaiz akbar), gyne & obs all from first aid ck for usmle step2, optho from kaplan medicine + internet. DrShoaib Muhammad I didn't use bulky books, but short books, and most emphasized on Kaplan, USMLE 1st aid, and SIMS notes... I used to prepare day by day according to our pattern in SIMS. and finally I passed 1st step.. 30 July at 01:06 Like 3

DrShoaib Muhammad on the same pattern I used to prepare for 2nd step.. but this time more hardly... as we studied some 12 hrs a day except academy hrs... and passed... combined study helped me well.. 30 July at 01:10 Like 3

DrShoaib Muhammad step 3 also wd the same plan of preparation, at the same academy wd Dr Jamshed Hussain, and passed..! the key factor is to follow the syllabus and pattern.
