Friend Reader:

The Auric M irro« is a new approach to a \!ery ancient understanding so often used"..-"BALANCED INTERCHANGE!" In a,eve, loping a technique fer balanced interchange, we found that "there is nothing new under, the sun", Vivian Power has captured in words many of the exp'eriences in the AURA BALANCE room, hoping that for all of yon who read her findings, as well as future members of QUIMBY CENTER and new friends'aeross N orth America, will become interested in ,the BALANCED AURA and the joys to be experienced in. the full knowledge and use of your own Etheric Double.

Auric Mirror has been, written for the readers in order that they can obtain, a more logical, detailed and comprehensive guide to serve them in their own SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT.

People ask man:y times, "Where do ideas come from that lead us to explore the many chartered realms of man's knowledge of himself?' Ralph Waldo Emerson remarked "Ideas come from space." We at QUIMBY CENTER, endorse that idea ... as have innumerable inventors, writers, artists and others engaged in creative pursuits,

The AURA is just now becoming a known factor of documented truth; however it has been listed in WEBSTER'S for Some time as "An invisible atmosphere supposedly surrounding a person or thing."

For the past few -years, since I have been reading the "auric mirror" surrounding ·.individuals, I have learned to appreciate how beautifully and wonderfully man has beencreated and how necessary it is for him to be truly attuned to the Universal Oneness, as was the PLAN for Men of Earth]

We, at Quimby Center, challenge all students .to consider their extrasensory faculties and to increase the- AURIC flow, thereby having a divine contact to aid in understanding the needs of humanity.

Let-something happen in your lives that you may establish a greater ,authenticity to our present findings and feel free to share them with us, so that we may validate our beginnings with the repon of your individual and collective experiences, then each of us will know the uniqueness .of knowledge gained by reading the A1lric Mirror.

Preface

Gn August %:, 1958, I had an appointment' with Neva Dell Hunter to have aJtarmitreading. I'was endeavoring at the time to determine why certain vents hac! transpired in D,ly life lyith such dire, negative results. The following is a quotation {mm the =r= which she gave me at that time. For those of you who do nat know of Dr. Hunter'swork, she places herself in asleep J?roduced by self-hypnosis and the consciousness which speaks through her identifies himself as F)r~ Ralph Gordon from the Fifth Plane.

"I'm going to the great Planet, Mercury. This planet served at least but

, ee percent of the people that inhabit the universe of the present, and especially rhcse that came to join the great caravan of 150,000 who came to serve Earth, and beloved one, you came in the great delegation of Light. You stoat! uRon the high pinnacle of power 69,000 years ago and made overtures to ti~e and said that you wished to ~o. Your ~issi0!l on Mercury ',Vas that .of healing. You have been concerned m many hfe Urnes and weavmg of life times ,wi,th what man calls a pracess of magnetic healing. Not so, much the p6wer of wards, my child, but the magnetism Of your body as it correlates itself, asdt works toward itself into the greater wisdom."

"On this planet Mercury, you were called before the Tribunal and they asked if you would go ta Saturn to have special training in the activities that would concern man as he would enter Earth. Now, I would like to say that "you-entered, after your training on Saturn" landing on Earth by a great space ship c~ming into ~e.directional power of Atlantis. Now wh~n you a~r'~ved on Atl-anlils, you were III a male body and your work was establishing clinics that had to do with endocrinology-dinics that had to do with making man fuUy aware and comprehensive of his own inner mechanism."

After hearing the above I was startled because I had no knawledge or training in the field of medicine or healing. I scarcely knew to what endocrinology referred. ~hat day Dr. Cordon gave me many answers co questions which had bothered me and at the end of the tape he read my aut".

"When man can wear the rose, the color of the universe 'as it dips itself in both the red and the pink, as you can intertwine your calor in die everlasting Li&,ht o~ the Christ, ~eholdl As you have taken aU your troubles, your problems to this great evolutionary green and placed them on the altar of your soul, and then you touched a little of the ray of sky blue and a little of the r,ay of reddish hue; but the great predominat.ing color shining through yot! is, what I would call the apple green. It shines and shines and glitters even in the Light. It is the grawth of the soul in its flight to higher wisdom, and I wish 10 say, beloved child of all the Light that the work in the circumference of these blessed colors, as they tie together the soul of you, that soon, Beloved One, yau will come and stand before the Hierophants of Time and speak with angels as you speak with men."

1 Corinthia/1s ]5:44-45

It is sown a natura! body; it is raised a spirittUl.l bod~. There is a natural bodYJ and there is a spiritual bo4y.

~nd so it is written, The first man Adam was made /J living soul; the last .4.dam was made a quickening spirit.

The Aura

CHAPTER I

Mf!.tthew 17:1-2~And after six d,a.ys Jesus taketh Peter, James and John! His brother, and- bringeth t'him up into ,a high mountain apart, and was transfigured be/ore them, and His face did sh,in.e as the .sun, and His raiment was white as the ligiu,

Almost. all occultists are agreed that the aura is an emanation of thought and feeling that surrounds each. individual. Webster gives as the definition of the aura, "An invisible atmosphere supposedlysurrounding a person or thing."

It is from this invisible atmosphere that we receive our first illll'ression of people. From the intuitive nature, we form impressions and e~p!,!Tlence ernotions and feelings regarding them and ourselves. Many times these first impres'ions are lasting ones and almost invariably our first impressions prove correct. All of us have heard people remark, "I had this feeling that something was wrong from the very first moment that I met him.' The "wrong" feeling may

emanate in regard to our relationship to the person, '

On one occasion, I met a very successful business woman, a writer and teacher. My first impression was that she was very masculine. As I grew fond of her, I decided that I had been wrong in my first evaluation. She was constantly emphasizing her femininity. In fact, shealmost seemed to protest about how feminine she was. Her husband finally divorced her because he said she was too "masculine." The auric evaluation was the true evaluation.

Charles Fillmore, founder of Unity, gives the following definition of the aura in the Revealing Word: "The thought emanation that surrounds every penon," He ,goes on to say, "Whether it is an illumined aura or medium, or dark and'cloudy, depends on the dominant thought force of each person. The aura is not vtsiole to all persons, but only to those who have their psychical nature quickened on the spiritual plane. There are, in the world today, men and women. who have followed the spiritual teachings' and developed in their bodies a super energy or life that not only permeates the physical structure, but envelops it in a luminous aura that can be and is felt by both themselves and others, S irit reveals that s )rit, ual thinkin breaks 0 en the hrsicaLcells and atoms an

Divme Ill.' n t e same book under "H9w the aura IS createc, r. Fillmore goes on to say that prayer liberates the en,ergies pent up in the ',::'-::d and body.

Many of the master painters indicated tbeirawareness of the spiritual aura by painting haloes around their subjects, In Luke 9:.29, in speaking of Jesus, the Bible says, "And as He prayed, the fashion of His countenance was altered, and His raiment was white and gli.stening."

So one may conclude that the aura is an electro-magnetic energy field which surrounds the physical body and isdiscemible to those of psychical sight. It encircles each of us as the sun's rays encircle the sun or like the halo that surrounds the moon. The appearance of the aura, Whether it is attractive or repulsive, depends on one's p~ysical health, ~ental attitudes and. spiritual development. What are our attitudes toward Iife, people and affaIrs? How balanced are we in our emotions and our attitudes?

All the contributing factors in: our daily lives register in our aura as colors, lines, dots, emanations, and vibrations. Every one of tis is different, and

7

...

our hidden selves are expressed through. the aura. Those individuals who live on a stFicdy ph.ysital, mental and material level have an entirely different emanation than .1Dose individuals who are intellectual and sp'ititua1.

To have a perfectly balanced aura, one's development and attitudes on all three of these levels (physical, mental and spiritual) must be in perfect attunement with the Infinite. When a typist sits. down at the typewriter, she places her fingers on what are called the "home keys". Suppose she' wants to type, "'Godis Infinite Love." J:bne doesn't place her fingers' on the home keys, it may look like this: "Hp£ od Omgo moyr :prb. I'm sure that an of you who have typed have had this happen to you sometime or other. As operators of our physical instrument, if we are not "home based" on the "right keys", the' result in our aura can be just as disastrous as the mis-typed lines.

For example, should. a man become involved in an argument with another person, and the result should bean exchange of physical blows" the .inharmonies will show in both the mental and physica'l auras and the auric fields will be disrupted. 'The aura carries. scars just as the physical body carries Its scars. Emotionally and spiritually as a person strives for a better balance, the wounds bec?me "la~ed", just as a physician will sew up a :ut on the p~y.sical body. A trained. clairvoyant Can tell, at a glance, the emotional and spiritual dev.elop,;ment of a person by the scars and "lacings" in the aura.

If we are off-base, wrongly centered, there will be a gradual cellular destruGt;ion in the physical body. On the emotional level, and as we all know this IS w.I!ere most of the stress in today's living is, the manifestation will be in mental and emotional deterioration. Spiritually, man was created perfect, so he ~ust let his spiritual perfection radiate through rhe other two. In today's world', the battleground for perfect balance and purification occurs on the emotional level Many business men, who are in the competitive field of selling, have thought they had to attack verbally the reputation of their competitors, and by the same token have themselves been under such an attack. This same type of situation occurs in, the political game as well. vVhat does all this do -toone's aura? The Kingdom of Heaven is within and how well this kingdom 'is established is evident.

Consequently, as we live, grow, decide what is right and what is wrong, .raticnalize and compromise, our aura is in a constant state, of flux. How the aura is transformed depends upon our ideas, attitudes, endeavors, and the state of consciousness in which we live. There is no doubt that our personality, soul condition, bidden self, and physical condition are revealed dearly through the colors, vibrations and formation of theaura,

There is a special class for cbildren from nine through twelveyears of ai~ -[ the church I attend, who are told of the aura. They are taught that when they live and obey the rules of Truth, do the right thing, cooperate with p;u;en~ and teachers, are reverent to God, all these things are evident in their aura, They did self-portrairs in their spiritual, auric glory when they attuned themselves to the Inner Self. They also painted themselves when they weren't attuned-so they could see the evidence '01 the contrast between right and wrong living.

When I first started my metaphysical search, I remembered Dr. Neva Dell Hunter telling me the appearance of lying and deceit in the aura. She stated that when a person is lying or deceiving" a dirty, greenish yellow color shoots through the- aura. Occasionally when tempted to lie or to deceive, I could imagine what my aura was going to look like, and put the temptation aside

no alter how difficult it was. -

As we come into the New Age, there will be more and more people who will be born with the ability to see the aura and more people will develop

The Auric Colors

••

To some, the subject of the aura is mystifying because the aura itseU is invisible to ordinary human sight. However, the truly real about us is not visible, Our feelings and emotions ate very real: actually they direct our lives, yet this whole area is unseen except to clairvoyants, vVe cannot touch, see, hear, taste or smell ow thoughts and emotions, but they control our lives. We know our determination, will and vitality are real but hidden. Our inner sight has to do with the three-fold aura, The first fold is the radiation of the physical .form and is the platform of physical man; the second is the emanation of the emotional or mental man; the third is the radiation of Spirit.

The physical amil; issometiOles called the 'pranic.aura. Prana is a Sanskrit word for energy, so the radiation of the physical aura is determined by the en.ergy that is pouring through the cells of the body. There. is a great deal written .about prana in occult literature as the Life and Breath of every living thing in the universe. It is credited with being the force that holds the physical universe together. It is through prana, carried by the nerve cells, that one feels

, emotions and sensations so keenly. The eth~ric. double enables the prana to

. run along the nerves of the bod:y, which enables the nerves to act as transmitters of external stimuli as well as of rhemororforce coming from within. There wiII be more about the etheric double in a later cli.a.pter, as it is through the "double" that balance takes place. The prana or vitalityexi.sts onall planes, physical, astra. 1, .'.n:tental. and. eth. eric. Th.e. source of all pranic en. ergy . Is t1k S~ln, - When the sun shines there IS an abundance of prana, but on a cloudy or l'amy day, there is a deficiency of prana. As prana comes "from the sun it "wells up" from the atom according to clairvoyant sight.

We have discerned in our work that because of the prana pouring through the physical cells of the body, a healthy body radiates a clear rosy-pink light through which a living whiteness pulsates, If this healthy person hes an earthy nature, a light green will predominate in his aura, H the earthy nature is wrongly directed, it makes the light, clear green a rnuddy green, When one's intention is destructive, the "aura is flooded with dark and muddy red spots. When one is insecure or wavering in 'his perscnafity, the aura is shapeless and the pattern confused. The me current thatruns through. the physical aura circulates left .to.right, ~lockwise. A .P7rson, who lives strictly in the physical, displays very Iittleemotioual and spiritual aura.

The emotional aura extends beyond the physical aura and is alway$ surging and moving. It is very powerful and magnetic, attracting the goodwill. of other people and inspiring their friendship, cooperation and the better' qualities of their ~atures. When it is ~ntel'mingIe;~ ~ith the spil'it1.)al attributes of higher lo".e, falt~, and understanding, the radiation of t~e aura becomes a great factorIn healing. I am stIl'c that Tl)any readers of thIS book have been toldb:y clairvoyants that they have a talent for healing and this is because they radiate this kind of an aura.

Almost all colo~ radiate through the. emotional aura-;-the reds, 'pinks, yel~ows that ?lcnd.wlth the ora.:pge~, and the greys. Sometimes there IS ~1s0 white that mixes w}th green, and 'WIth red 'co make rose. Wlhen the emotions are not purified hyt\1e' Spirit,. all the a?ovecI?-eIitioned colors take on a muddy cast, but 'otherwise they are pure and Illumined. When one becomes angry or

10

t

has temper tantrums, the force of the spiritual nature is choked aff from the aura, the purity withdraws, arid-the colors become fused with muddy brown and red.

Each of us has stood at the crossroads of life; each of Us bas made his decisions, When we review these, we can know ,in retrospect what aut auras. looked like at those times. When we made a wmng decision against our true spiritual nature, the straight Jines, that radiated through the aura become crookedand the light, if any. had no. current or put;pose and the colors were shapeless clouds.

Most occultists associate the .color of blue with devotion, People who are spirll'ually devoted have a beautiful and specific color of blue in their auras, _ ~,'hen t,his is Cleve.loped in,' their ~,atures~ they often ~oo~e" to-wear,blue,cl0t!tmg. The more highlyevolved, Intellectual souls emit yellaw and orange m ~heit al!ras. Spiritual and br?th~rl.y love .!pIs the aura ~ith .pi'uk and ~ racl.iatmg whiteness, People who. Iive ill a physical and emotional world, glvmg no. thought to. spiritual. pursuits, very seldom reveal any kind of a spiritual aura. Theemotional aura is charged in a horizontal fashion and it revolves clockwise,

Now we come to. the spiritual aura which is one with the spirit form.

When one has this aura fuIfy developed, it is like a dazzling sun. It seems to live within itself-is transparent, and seems to overflow and outwell with life, light and energy, with lustrous and beautiful colors. The colots are vivid, living, dear and of a high vibration. It has twelve beams af living 'Wllite Ligh~ which well up from its depths and pass through the other twa auras and extend in all directions. In Matthew 17:2, it States, "And after six days Jesus takethPeter, James and john, His brother, and bringeth them );Ip into a high mountain apart and was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun"an'd His raiment was white as the light .. " After Moses had been praying ?ll, iQe mountain, his face ~hone so. ~rightly that people c~lUld D9't gate upon n,. and he had to. ~ear a veil, Accor~tng to. the Umty tea~mg, Peter stands ~or faith, James f?r Judgment. and John tar }o~i'!; a moun~a~ represents a hlgb place m eonscrousness .. So m order to. radiate a pur!'!, spiritual aura, one must have spiritual faith, lave anp: judgin~ht incorporated with other spiritual faculties and remain in a high place Gf consciousness to' become transfigured.

Naw, that we are coming into the New Age, the .densities or veils around our bodies are becoming thinner and are disappearing, and the Piscean colors are changing 'to those of the Aquarian Age. Wh.en one is spiritually attuned, righteous and positive, and one is filled, with higher understanding, the spiritual aura is filled with gold, orange, and indigo. blue. Then when one pours in divine lave and devotion, it gradually produces a purple blended with pink and white. This blending produces the Aquarian purple-magenta of the New Ag'e.

The aura can be compared toa great sea of colot-on a calm day it is placid andretlects the deepest greens and blues, but on a stormy day it sweeps and swells with great white-capped' waves .. The aura can be as calm and beautiful as a fiery opal, or as raging as a great holocaust shooting sparks and Hames of color.

The predominating colors in the aura of physical man are green, red and brown; these are the earth colors, The earthy brown in the aura is a warm, ri~ and loamy brown. In ematia~al man, .the colars are !ed, ~r~en, with pink, with yellow and orange representmg the inrellect; and ill spiritual, man they ate indigo, blue: purple, pinka,n~ y-rhite. R, ed .indicates ,a, racial Iove, yellow, the developed intellect, blue, spiritual devotion and pink, brotherly love.

11

Orange indicates a highly creative 'ability and saffron yellow indicates wisdom, a knowledge of the cosmos and idealism. The beautiful iridescent white indicates a.s.eiritua1 posiriveness, healing power, holiness and purity. The color of the rope which Buddha wore was saffron yellow.

The evidence of the radiant Christ Light in the aura is gold. When the golden hue appears in the aura, it indicates communion with the saints and angels. It shows that the individual has blended his inner being with the Divine, has received the quiclc:ening of the Spirit.

We all learned in the lower grades in school that red, yellow and blue are the primary colors. Physical man is represented by red, yellow represents intellectual man and blue. spiritual man, Man is a three-fold being: Mind, Body and Spirit-which are the three primary principles.

We also learned in school that when red and yellow are mixed, the result is orange. When the physical (ted) ·and the intellectual qualities (yellow) are unified in the heighth of consciousness, wisdom or creative knowledge, orange is the result. When red and blue 'are mixed the result is purple. So when the physical (red) and the spiritual (blue) are unified, the physical is transformed and the royal purple is supreme. Kings and queens, who were said to rule by divine right, wore the royal purple-to denote their supremacy.

When the spiritual blue and the yellow of the intellect are combined we have come full circle back to the green again. The color of apple green in the aura denotes spiritual growth.

Needless to say. each of these colors has myriads of hues varying in degree according to the emotional content, Love of varying, degrees, depending upon whether it is self-love or love of another, appears from a deep red .~Q a bea1,lti·· ful, shade of rose and at the very bottom of the scale can be a dull, ugly, muddy crimson suggesting a mixture of 'blood and dirt, Anger produces .. Shooting flashes of bright scarlet, if it is the result of righteous indignation, while a dull red indicates rage or passion which is uncontrolled. Avarice produces a dirty,

dull ted mixed with a muddy ugly green. '

Religious thoughts and feelings are represented in the aura by the rich and beautiful ?ear violet tints. These, to?, are rres~te~ i.n a wide range of shades dependm~ on the formulated feelmgs 0 the Individual and whether the religious feelings tend to lead one into the deeper spiritual attainment. A high degree of morality is indicated by a beautiful shade of dear blue.

12

13

The Etherie Double

CHAPTER III

Almost every clairvoyant describing the aura remarks on its opalescence, for as all the various shades and tints of color blend, surge and combine in an opaline display of tints, shades ana hues, one is reminded in a w,ay of the rainbow; however, the rainbow is neither transparent nor does it appear to move. The pearly opalescent quality of tIie aura is furnished hy the etheric substance which makes up the etheric body or the etheric double.

The etheric double is the 'exact counterpart of the physical body, and it is the aura of this body that gives the aura its pearly, opalescent appearance, In: 'health, it has a rosy-peach radiance. The etheric double has had many names, It is sometimes referred to as the vital body. the dopple-ganger, After physical death. it is the ghost. apparition or phantom. Just as the physical' body is composed of atoms, theetheric body is composed of etheric substance, of which the physical body is an exact counterpart. The etheric double and the astral body are. two <1Iistinct vehicles, most occultists agree.

Th_e etheric double serves many purposes, one of which is _ to distribute energy."vitality, prana to the entire physiC'3il body. It also acts as a bridge to the astral. body, for it serves as. a causeway or transformen of consciousness from the hIgher etheric and astral realms,

It is on the etheric double .that man develops the different vortices, centers or chakras through which "the consciousness of man can operate in the etheric world; When man becomes unconscious either from- an anesthetic OF fro:!ll a blow on the head, it is because the etheric double has become separated from the physical or dense body. This is also true at death; it. is because of the permanent separation of the two bodies that man dies. Because the double is the connecting link between the brain and the higher consciousness, the extrusion of it from the dense physical body produces an anaesthesia or unconsciousness and for this reason, one is unable to remember or recall what has !happened during the period of unconsciousness.

To clairvoyant sight the etheric double appears to be fastened onto the .phfsical at the taB of ,the shoulders, on th_e right and left- side at the rib cage and at both knees. These fastenings vary with individuals, but most generally these are the points with most people. It is common knowledge that> even

though a 'persoii may have a limb o?:an arm amputated, he-can still fee) "pain" in the amputated-member because he is aware of it in the etheric double. This

• is also the case, when one says- his arm, leg or hands have "gone to sleep". The etheric double has been withdrawn from the affected part and when it reenters, the tingling or needling sensation is feIt.

Mediums are so~etimesa, ble to extrude the etheric double and this is the phenomena that occurs in seances. It is with the e~~eric double thM many types of plienomena, etc, occur. The ethefic double is connected to the physical body by a cord, in occult literaturereferred to as the "silver cord." When death OcCUI;S the cordi is snapped and the double 'usually floats above the body, and it is during this separation that the pictures of the life just lived pass in review before th~ ego, the memory yielding tip all its.f6i:gotten. secrets, "guilty" acts, loves and hates, successes arid failures. It js thus the ego passes judgment and determines what has- to be corrected in tlie succeeding lifetime. 1£ the ego wants. to cling to an earthly existence, it hinders the astral body from

Vortices

CHAPTER IV

UPon the surface of the etheric double there appear vortices, or centers which, in Hindu pmlosoph,y, are called chakras, The word, chakra, is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel. To clairvoyant sight, the vortices appear as round indentations or circular shapes on the surface 'of the etheric double. Oil individuals, who have little or no. spiritual development, they appear as tiny, opalescent circles, but in the sritituaUy awakened and developed .individual, they are tilazing whirlpools 0 myriad colors, swirling and undulating, Because of their flower-like appearance. these centers are sometimes referred' to as lotuses. Each lotus glows and shimmers with a rapid display of changing colors radiating out and beyond thepet~ ~o~ts into the 'astral body .. X:he greater the spiritual development of the Individnak thegreater the radiation,

Most occultists agree that there .are se~en. vortices or chakras, although some schools mention twelve. However .. the consensus is that there are seven, locarted approxmlately thus:

1. Root Ohakra-c-base of the spi.ne---4 petals

.1':. Naval Chakra=-vlcinity of the spleetJ.~ pi:tals

3. Solar Plexus Chakra-vicinity of the navel-HI petals

4. Heart 'Chakra-vicinity of the heart-12 petals

5. Throat Chakra=-viciniry of the larynx-T6 petals

6. Brow Ohakra-between the brows in the forehead=R (96) petals

7. Crown Chakra-s-at the top of the head-972 petals (Caned in oriental writings, the Thousand-Petaled Lotus)

These vortices in the etheric double also use the ductless glands of the 'ep:docrine system as their counterparts in the physical body. The point 6£ adjustment between the etheric 'body and the .physical body appears to be the ductless glands, through the involuntary nervous system. These glands can be identified as follows:

1. Root Chakra-s-gonads and ovaries

2. N avel Chakra-the adrenals

3. Solar Plexus Chakra=-the panoreas

4. Heart Chilia-the thymus

5. The Throat Chakra-the thyroid

6. The Brow Chakra-the pituitary

7. Crown Chakra-tbe pineal

Probably the crown chakra and the brow chakra are the' best knownbecause of their representation in the art of the orientals in the statues of their gods and goddesses. The jewel in the middle of' the fdxehe;ld, in oriental art represents the brow chakra: and the headress of the Lord Buddha which has a dome of 960 curled petals, with a small dome of 12 rising out of that, reetesents the crown chakra, It is also depicted as a coronet of flames shooting upward from the chakra.

In Christian scripture, it is spoken of as the golden- down. In -Revelation 4,:4, it states, "And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw Jour and twenty elders sitting. clothed in White raiment;

16

and they had on theirs heads <.TOWns of gold." In the lOth verse of the same chapter it states, "The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne and worship him that liveth forever and cast their crowns befose the throne ... "

It is in the vortices or the chakras that man stores Iris karma, d'harma," the .emotions of his actions. The chakras are the emissaries of karma rand are carried over from lifetime to lifetime through the higher bodies. It is. the emotional impact in the act of wreng-doing that slows and finally stopS the centrifugal action of the vortices of the etheric double. To 'restore the energy flow again in the chakra, man must recognize aEld accepl the responsibility for the act which stopped the energ; flow in the firs [ placl;'. Man pays his karmic debt when he meets himself in. the realization of his own error: In balancing the aura, man is being prepared to meet and accomplish the re-activation of the 'vortices. Because of many past mistakes. some chakras become stagnant pools ofsluggish slime which must be cleaned and made ready to be activated again. The energy, which lies dormant in the base of the spine in the etheric double, rises to the chakras to. activate them. Because of the "Gordian Knots" which have been tied in the passageways by the karmic incidents, this energy Cannot flow freely. The untying of the "Gordian Knots", the arousing of this energy, the activation of the chakras, is ali individual effort in man. As we proceed into the New Age, more and more students are preparing themselves and being made ready to accomplish this very thing. The individual, when he arrives at this point, re-energizes the memory pattern of what was done in ages past. Aura balancing, as we know it, according to the Akashic Record+, bas been practiced from time immemorial.

A plunibline is the symbol of the New Age. As mati. :CQ)Te!;ts the disharmonies within himself, he will be able LO establish peace ·and harmony in his environment and hi~ affairs, The plumbline i~ a true balancer. 'The .Aura Balancer uses a plumbliue as an instrument to balance, just as a writer uses a pe~ [0, transfer l~s thougfits to paper. The p~ndllJum is the in~trument "thro.llgh which the energIes from the ethers and the inner planes flow mro the phYSIcal, mental and etheric bodies of the person receiving the balancing by way of the

, elecrro-tnagnetic field surrounding the physical .body. This radiant energy is referred to as the Light. It acts as a directive of the Master Mind through-the Balancer,

The ancient Chinese art of ac.upllncture uses the meridians carrying this

energy in order to' establish ease and harmony in the physical body.

"The Yin and Yang are contatn,ed in the Tao, the basic P7'iru:iple of tlie ,mti1'c universe. To test whether the etheric body is breathing energy, the Aura Balancer holds the pendulum above each finger and the thumb of the Balancee. The inflowmg energy will cause the pendulum to swing back. and forth, OI in a QO,ckwiSe motion and in some cases in a counter clockwise- motion. The energy flowing into the toes of the feet may be tested in the same manner. The con" duits or meridians for the energy flo''ling into every organ in the body manifests along lines beginning at the tips of the fingers and toes. the body; Auric f!nergy is a dynamic manifesting in matrices .<It the heart, head, hands and feet.

"The aura is the cohesive eI~em of God within mart."· Man has to be balanced in body, mind and spirit 'before he can operate eohis fullest created potential and before he can be used by himself as an instrument and for God as an agent.

Psalms 73:26, John 6:63, John 15:5-The body has no strength. of ' its own.

When man is out of tune with himself, he is DU:t of tune with ·the universe and his fellow man. Within himself, man is a composite being and when any

. one of these "parts" is out of balance, he suffers from dis-ease, mental illness, pain, discomfort and is inharmonious with his environment, An aura balancing puts the body back in tune with itself; .in tune with its own spiritual harmony: it lIelps to conserve and stimulate the Life Force, so that it is not wasted. hut is sealed in and utilized.

To balance properly the physical, mental and spiritual .auras, three sessions ofapproximately one hour each with the Balancee are necessary depending upon the difficulties encountered and how far out of balance the aura happens to be, Because man is a physical, mental and spiritual 'entity, each of these three parts inrer-acts, inter-connects and inter-changes with the others. IT there is an imbalance, all paxts are affected because they are so closely reIaced. In order for man to become more aware, he needs to be ttttuned to the vibratory field around him. The auric field. surrounding many persons today is in an extr~eIy disrupted ~tate beca;lse of (h~ physical and emo.ticmaT. stresses and conditions under which they live. PhYSICal blows· or emeriotial mhaimonies disrupt the auric field. In a great many Instances, the body .isn't even receptive to the mind and by the same token, if the mind is not in tune, it mar well reject jts responsibilities to the body. Only in a final exiremiry as "incurable" domost turn to the Higher Force of Light.

Because man is sensitive to the vibratory field around him. the physical place where the balancing is done is important. It should "be quiet, dean and peaceful and full of fresh air. If at all possible, the room should never be used for anything but balancing and attuning. Two candles should be Iighted to t1ie Father-Mother Light En.ergy and a glass of water placed in between to com" plete the manifestation ,of the four basic elements of fire, ail', earth and water. The Aura Balancer may want to saturate his hands with a solution in which eucalyptus is an ;ingredient as it helps I?agne1~caUy to increase th<; radiation of energy. A prayer should be offered, either SIlently or verbally m order that all present are attuned as a group to [he spiritual Light. The Balancee should indicate verbally his desire and his willingness to change'. The greatest results are achieved when the ODe being balanced gives himslf iup totally and ompletely to the Father-Mother Light. If there is any withholding in the CO:\,lsciousness, it will evidence itself as a blOCK in the auric field, and will have ro be dealt with by the Aura Balancer. v"hen the one being balanced attunes himself to the Light, he can be brought quickly into auunement with the great universal consciousness.

In affecting a physical balancing, the Balancer moves jhe pendulum up the meridians and the aura absorbs the energy being radiated through the -pendulum"Wben each center or vortice has absorbed, like ,a blotter, all the energy radiated, as needed, the pendulum will stop swinging and the Balancer

oI'Dr. Ralph Gordon

will move to the next cemer, 'There is both a positil'e and a negative polarized energy being poured through the pendulum. For example, . if a vortiee or center is deficient in a negative polarity; the pendulum will swing in a counter cJockwise motion. H the center is deficient in positive energy, it will swing in a clockwise motion. When a balance has been achieved, the pendulum will, swing back and forth in a "sealing" action. As a result, the balance is achieved, not only as an over-all balancing, but in each of the component parts.

'When the Balancer moves into' an area of the aura with the pendulum and it 5t<l1'18 swinging in a counter clockwise motion; it means there is a block or distortion in this area, and it is necessary to remove it. Blocks can occur £01" many reasons, but frequently they occur from an emotional Gause in connecrionwith an accident or injury. The different types of blocks, their causes and removal will be discussed nt another chapter.

When a block appears, it is neeess<u')' for the Balances ... viah. the assistance of the clairvoyance of the Balancer te determine the cau e of the block and assist the Balancee in recalling it to his conscious memory pattern. One of the factors contributing to putting an aura out of balance is lesing' tOucb with reality. This loss of. consciousness rnay have occurred when the individual "gave up"; when the emotional torment was too much to bear and he has literally committed "mental suicide."

In regard 'to the Balancee, when a soul takes on a body [0 pass through a physical incarnation, II sometimes happens that the mind will (lccept 'the karma but lacks understanding to fulfill his karrni responsibiliry. When emotionally, because of guilt. the Balancee rejects the reason for the karma, it is sometimes necessary to have the Akashic record read, so that the true karmic reason may be brought to full consciousness. Because of ~he lack of soul forgiveness (this 'being the affirmative action of karmic elimination) guilt feelings are brought to the conscious attention. hi many instances, as the reason comes to the conscious mind of the Balancee, he will be reluctant even to speak of it because it is emotionally painful; however it is better if he CRn. In an instanee of this kind, the action of the Light through the pendulum will pull the negativity from the aura and it can be released.

What is the result of removing these block~? A river which i.s daDl':led will no; f10we enly and smoothly. VlI11ea a block is removed the river ol energy Gill flow smoothly and peacefully. The Balancee feels a peace and a tranquility that passes all understanding. One yoU]]g lady reported that she slept sixteen hours of the most restful sleep she could remember alter she had had her physical balancing. Can the Balancee feel the distress being expelled Irom a center? It depends on how aware and attuned to his ITIwn body the Balancee is. as to what he feels, but most usually he feels the tension leave 'the area.

After the physical and mental auras have been balanced, the rythmic energy flow is established. After the first two Balancings, t1;Ie Balancee will usually feel, if he is aware, less tense, more tranquil) energized and as if "" "weight" had been lifted.

Almost all people who have become more spiritually aware as they have come into the New Age have concentrated their efforts on the development of the spiritual side of their natures. Through self-help and psychological searching, some have been made aware of their emotional immaturity and have concentrated on their emotional problems. As a result, the auric a~tunement expresses harmony.

21

In our document ation of this particular attunerueut, we have tound the practicability of having more than one Balancer pI'esent 011 occasions. \·Ve have had severai examples where balanced harmony has been established by all present in me aura balancing room.

The Aura Balancer -is working constantly to increase his sensitivity and to improve his techniques and each Balancer works differently. Some become specialized ill some particular facet of balancing-some excel at balancing the physical aura, or the mental or spiritual bodies, depending on the pa.rricular atrunement and each learns different techniques for sealing the aura afrer the balancing.

One of the requirements of being able LO Aura Balance, is that the Balancer familiarize himself with the techniques for sealing the aura so that the vortices do not lose the energy gained in the balancing and so that tbe consciousness radiates and expresses the peace within. One technique for sealing the aura is to seal it with the pendulum after each point or center is balanced. This method is tedious and takes a great deal of time, but is thorough and effective. It is usually used by the Balancer who is talented .in doing physieal balancings,

The aunt can also be sealed with meridian sealing. It is performed by passing the pendulum in a counrer-clockwise motion down the meridians of the body and back up in a clockwise motion starting at the top of the head in the center and work.ing LO the periphery of the body.

Another technique is to make twelve-passes with the. left hand in a figure "eigbl" motion, which is the symbol of eternity over the body using rhe waist lime as the cross-over point. The number of pa ses to be made is determined by the psychological findings of the Balancer, The body can be sealed just three times or six times after the first and second balancings but twelve Fasses should be made after the last balancing.

Many times one is asked bow long an Aura Balancing will last. At the present time. normal conditions have proven that with a cooperruive, right attitude, a balancing will be effective approximately one year. The' fact that II. person bas had a balancing lends to lessen the emotional impact of a negative situation, and the balancing tends to Jessen the emotional stress ami strain"

'When the physical, mental and emotional bodies have been attuned, at the third balancing, the Balancee is put in harmony with his own spiritual nature by listening to a specially prepared Lord's Prayer tape. In the privacy of his own chambers, he decides for himself the dedication of his own path. In attuning the spiritual aura, harmonizing music is played which puts the Balancee spiritnaU1 in t~e ~ili ?i~se]f: When the men~al and fhy~i.?<ll auras are balanced the energy WIll fall in Iine to accordance with the iudividual's place in S0l11 evolutien.

It is a very strange thing, but understandable, that those individuals coming for balancings ~ho have witnesse~ the crucifixion in. a .past life received a 'r~ease of mestl1natable value, It ts true that the crucifixion was of a highly emotiorutl nature and, therefote~ did a?~ct th~ mental aura,. ~ut at the same time because o£ the very nature of the spiritual impact, the spiritual aUI,. was affected too. The emo~o~al vibration of the eyent radiated a memory pattern., that affected the splr~tUal ,n~ra. T~. the trained Aura Balencer, the recognition 0,£ dle.s~ persons 1S. .practically instantaneous because of the evidence of their spiritual suffering and the nature of the releasemenr, The emotional involvement of those who witnessed the crucifixion is one of

22

extreme guilt, for at the time. the witness was saying to himself either consciously or unconsciously, "1£ 1 live and my Lord dies, 1 somehow mUSL be responsible." This is a true statement because 'of the witnesses' polarfzarion to the Christ, and the physical man on: the .ross, The emotional agony of such polarization is extreme, and the release, when it comes, i equally HS gratifying. This release transforms man Jive: and in turn the live of those whom it rouches,

An A UTa. Balancing acts as a preventive to avojd downfa.lls in the physical body, emotional deterioration and spiritual failure. The pendulum that the

. Aura Blancer uses becomes an externalization of himself as a part of his own instrumentation. The pendul i a can den er of the planetary rays acting as it mental rainbow. The Aura Blancer chooses his pendul with gr('!'H care and he chooses a particular one because the moment his eyes .re 't on it, he "knows" with an inner knowing that the partlCll lar pendulum. he chooses is j ust Jar him and him alone. Some Aura Balancers have had to ,carrytbeir pendulums on or neal: their person for three months for them to be attuned to the particular vibratory frequency of the balancer. This particular attuneruent fills the pendulum with the vibration of love trust and wisdom. The higher wisdom within the Self will never betray the dedicated spiritual effort. In ;pe~tki.pg thusly. we are speaking of the Mastel' thought force in the wodd-the Master soul enel·S-Y. The Aura Balancer attracts thi laster energy and Light by his own spiritual cleanliness, the purity of his pm-pose and his dedication to his fellow man. He must be pure in the physical sense, and in mind, body and spirit, for if he is blocked on any level, the solar energy Hawing through him will be blocked and " ... ill cause his own di comfort.

The twelve tribes of Israel can be likened to the vortices 0.1' the splrirual centers in the body of man. Until they are put into motion, they are lost. Each lunar month, there is released frora the region of the pituitary, a mystical genn which passes through the vortices' olUsing them to yield their "fruit" to the Cluist Center. "When man is balanced' enough topick lip the consciousness of the twelve fruits, he can be reborn through the Christ and first acbieve Cosmic Consciousness and finally Christ Consciousness .

.. the armour of God as spoken. of in the Bible can be likened to [he awakened spiritual centers and powers of the individual, The powers generated by the opening of these centers are different at the different levels of conscioijsness,

On the spiritual level, the center at the top of the head is the instrument of Divine Mind and Universal Intelligence. The next is the voitice of spiritual

Ing of nature <U1d creation the Sixth the perfection of human life on 'the Earth plane, and the seventh, is the Instrumeut of the Holy Spirit.

To heal, in whatever way, is a gift of the Spirit and manifests in the 'world LO the degree dl spiritual understanding, The- medical doctor pursues his career in healing because of a desire to heal with surgery and drugs, and be lleaJ.s according to his understanding and desire. Those doctors who heal through manipulations, heal according to their understanding and desire. The spiritual balancer does likewise. -Each administrator attracts those persons who have faith in his methods and ,by their faith, they are healed. OWl" concern here is with the one who has been trained and developed through spiritual perception to achieve balance. To balance with the Light, one must have some understanding of the Light, and one also must have come through a form of spiritual purification.

At the karmic level, the Aura Balancer must have at some time, faced the. karma that he has deposited in these centers; must have faced himself in . the situaeion In which he erred, and. must have gone through the process of regeneration. The purer the physical, emotional and spiritual' bodies of. the Allm Balancer, t~e pure! the manifestation of the Light which passes through the pendulum WIth which he balances the aura of another .. Naturally, this being the case, he is always working for a keener insight into himself as well

as others. In a sense, he is both a mystic and an adept for he must have, not only a cognizance of the inner planes, but .he must at all times be f';In:)' aware of all that is taking place all the Earth Plane. Bre, 10'0, must be aware of every word transmitted in the balancing room. as well as to,jenow and understand ,the auric framework that the individual brings to the Aura Balancing room.

Through his own trinity of gower, the Balancer seeks to establish in the Balancee a greater realization of God as three persons. He must at all times be able to corita,ci his own soul and work through it. For it is through his S01.tl contact that he cap contact the soul with whom he is working. I:Ie is able to do this by contacting his own spiritual will, for It-is drr:o:ugh this reference that the balancing must be ,brought into activity ..

Through the projection of his own established spirit"llal rapport, the Balancer contacts the inner feelings of th~-BaIa.nc€e. It, is vita} that the Balancer be spiritually developed to the point that he is phy~icalIy seils:itivelto his own magnetic field and the sensations in It. Through. his own vehicle, he "mirrors" ~he magnetic field of the Balancee and this :gives him exact knowledge of the point through which balance must come. Balance does not come nhrough aQY intense affirmation or decreeing of di v~nity, or a pouring. 0)1 t,~ of a human expression of love, but it comes with an understanding ana the mastering of an exact scienceof contacting the other person' in spiritual emanation, the receiving of exact impressions, plus a-great understanding of the operatioii and the _apparatus of the etheric vehicle.

The structure of clairvoyanthearing must have been activated in the-Aura Balancer- so that he can near on the inner planes as -he attunes himself to the Master Light. At no point -should' the Ba0ncet be emo~.~0nally involved with the one being balanced for he must be objectiveat all times in order to balance correcsly. I,t is for this reason that it is best to have a gairvoyanr present at the balancing.

Through the dynamo of Iiis own faith, personality and expression, the Balancer exercises the power to reverse, re-orient and exalt tb,e \Xlr:iScio~ ess

The Balancer must radiate magnetic Rurity which he has achievedithrpugh 0 great personal discipline and rArou'gh the habit of Pl}!t? Iiying. "llhis rJiUJd; mati cally and inevitably results in attaining a great dispelling ·:taCIiai:Ioo of" spiritual energy. The centers or vortices In the head m st be linked together resulting in a definitely reccgnizablezadlation which he.uses and directs. He -mus.t cc;>jicentrate the needed energy in his own centers so that they may be dir,.ected into the etheric foJ'ID of the Balancee. The energy is directed ... t9. the vortice closest to the seat of the imbalance and the Balancse is made ieady in conscibus.ness to receive the energy to-be diS,charged. The Balancer scientifically coordinates his own equipment with the Light and directs it through- pi~ physicaLtehide. (arms ap':Lhands) Into the pendulum as the directing·~g~nt.

~ :I7hrough this radiation of energy, the Balancer can pour a vital, healing force upon the Balancee in a Slightly diff~:e!lt~<!.nner. This. is br~ug?t abouf by the Balapce:, through _a,. sy~tem. of coordma~lOn of thevl~al, healing force in allthevertices and radiating It through his (the Balancer's) own aura. Thus the person' being balanced can lie on the 'balancing -table andabsorb the

Light· and receive benefit from it. _

- The effort put forth by the Balancer in the balancing is -achieved in the

effortlessness, and he practices complete harmlessness in the- Oneness at all ti.mes. This means ~a~ he is . poised, p?sitive in his expression ~n.d his f~oint of VIew encompasses divine understanding. The force of the divine will must function through the pool of divine love. For if his human will interferes through sentiment or a mystical desire. with the divine process, the effort to hold the human will in leash lis negated. The spiritual will must he present at all times as the power force behind the energy 6£ divine love.

As the Balancer, through practice, develops his own etheric vehicle and learns to use his Light body, he moves into the higher dimension of the Spiritual Triad (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and learns to affect the Triune Balancing. Too is an instance where the Balancer is able to balance all three bodies, the spiritual, mental and physical,aU in one operation. Through: his own inner mechanism. he learns to invoke the soul of the Balancee and to pout through the radiant ,power and can thus stimulate the Balancee to do his own harmonizing.

The Balancer of the New Age should be able, through his own -SOlt'l, to make contact with the Balancee with ease and understanding, and radiate the particular ray that will balance. As he radiates this ray into the vortice of the person being balanced it, in turn, will radiate into the surrounding phys~ca:l area where imbalance is .loc;ated'. 'J1his -radiated Perfection calls imperfection to the surface and thus the Light drives the imbalance from the form of man in hisparticular time and space vibratory field.

The New Age Balancer does not and will not work with the physical body as such, h::!Jt at all times will WOFk prjlctically and entirely with the etheric body,,,"Hiri>asic necessity will be to perfect .his spiritual faculties to a point of infallibility.

It is Cosmic Law as well as physical law that for every action. there is an equal and opposite reaction. Consequently, there is continuing balanced interchange between the Balancer and the Balancee, when both are spiritually attuned.

The Light And The Light Bearer

CAPTER VII

"The Light is the true. expressio'tl 01' the raw which cooperates and. expresses tfirough us fJ[ficlcnt1y."

Dr. Ralph Gordon

Metaphysically, the Light is the symbol of intelligence, love and the law in combination. This does not say that the Light is these things. Thecreation of our universe is manifested through the efficient wading of these three factors with each other. Full cemprehension of [he Light is not available to man in the present day nor in his present form, ]J man gained fun comprehension of the Light in its total encompassing potential, he could not exist in the form in which he exists, today. He is only able to encompass the Light to the degree that the atomic structure of his subtle instrument C;lIlJ contain it. Life is Light at its own rate Q£ vibration. The Light fence of Life flows in the blood stream of man. The vehicle that tarries the life principle that permeates all space is the air, so it is very, apparent that the breathing apparatus and the circulatory system of man are very important.

When water is subjected to various changes in vibration, it changes form.

When it is subjected to a higher rate of vibration, it becomes steam; when subjected to a lower rate, it becomes ice. When Life is subjected to a higher vibration of Light, it becomes Spi:t~it and is invisible to physical sight.

Man's awareness of the Light within him. is his consciousness, and he radiates into his environment his degree of consciousness. That consciousness which he projects into his environment is returned to him in like manner, whish is the Law. "As ye sow, so shall ye reap." It is the radiation of con" sciousness which we carry forward from day to day and from Iife time to Iife time.

We collect through the mental body and the five senses what our environment presents to us,· and it is presented to us in a physical sense from the spiritual world of cause. The manner in which we handle what is presented determines our progress in the spiritual realms, so consequently not much progress can be made unless we do become constructively involved with our

environment with an expanded consciousness of what is taking place. ~

We will attract into the environment that Which we need to become more aware of, just as we will radiate the energy to handle the situations. We will never attract more than we are able to handle. Feeling is the key to all situations for when the intelligence and the feelings are in accord, a man is united in his. house. If the feelings and the intelligence are at odds, the house is divided and cannot stand. You are totally and completely responsible for that which you radiate and that-which you attract. One would no longer offend nor be _offefl:ded if one operated wi.thin,· t;his Law. This is being true to you:s~If. If you Judge another today, you will be Judged tomorrow, for the law of glVlng and receiving is always in operation. "Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men do to you; do ye even to them; for this is the Law and the prophets." St. Matthew?: l2.

Light is actually all there is of all in existence, Light is pure, unadulterated life substance, the radiant energy of God. In operation, It extends itself in many rates of vibration, and man expresses his energy in many forms according to his individual consciousness.

27

Man is one polarity of this Light in expression, woman is the opposite polarity. "Male and female created He them." Man expresses his polarity according to his consciousness as does woman. The constant desire for the male expression of the Light on the part of the female and the constant desire for' the female expression of the Light on the part of the male is a desire for balance. Anyadulteration of the true expression of the Light, the true giving and receiving, causes an imbalance. This imbalance is evident in the Light of the aura, and it is the purpose of the Aura Balancer to correct the imbalance and the expression of the Light. It is also the desire of the one being balanced to have the imbalance corrected and to give himself up completely to the truest expression of the Light.

The feminine polarization of the Light represents the receptive aspect .0£ th.e Light; the male polarization of the Light represents the active aspect of the Light. Balance is achieved by the Law of Love in action, the rythmic, balanced interchange. Wllen this balance is achieved, each becomes one ray of Light. Symbolically, this is represented by the Triad, the equilaterial triangle-s-Father, Mother and Son.

At the physical level, the Light expresses itself in ninety-six different rays.

Each ray is a different vibratory frequency and radiates different hues of that color. This radiance of the colors and hues of the one pure white Light manifests into a golden glow. The truly spiritually illumined will radiate this pure, white Light of the Christ with the golden radiance.

"''hen the Aura Balancer begias the balancing and . radiates the prayer for balance, he holds the pendulum above the .solar plexus until the pendulum swings in a clockwise motion and the Prayer Light attunes itself to theaura of the oue being balanced.

When, Due's consciousness is limited to the physical world alone-the world of Effect only-he is headed toward death because he has limited his ability to generate the Light. However, if he expands his consciousness to the Light of the Father-Mother Principle. he can regenerate himself in the Light to function with a cognizance of the spiritual world of Cause and can develop his spiritual. radiant, luminous body of Light into Eternal Life because the consciousness of the Light is all there is.

In order to be born into the world of Cause, man must be willing to enter into the Oneness of all things, through his alignment with the highest principle within. himself; the Universal Father-Mother Principle. As bas been stated before, the desire to expand the consciousness into this knowingness, activa tes the endocrine system which regen era res the mental. desire body of man. making his rebirth a reality.

The Aura Balancer is motivated to enthuse the individual in the Light so that he is inwardly itn-pelled to do the will of God and live according to Principle. This desire has Its seal of motivation in the heart and is a radiation of. Universal Love. When the aspirant ~esires to al~gn I:Us limited will.to the WIll of God, he must balance that which keeps him lied to earth, his own negative trait patterns. When Jesus told His followers, .... Whosoever shall come afte~ me, let him deny himself and takeu? his ?,OSS and follow me," He was talkingto the undeveloped ego of man. It IS not Just enou&h to know the Law, but man must put the Law of Love into action to make It work. A master is only master of himseH. He cannot be a master of someone else or for someone else. The unfinished experiences of all the past lives of man are recorded in his soul memory. To meet these experiences and understand their causes takes tremendous understanding, will power and forgiveness of self. Man cannot. forgive another-s-he can only forgivehimsel£ for his own mistakes. When man

28

understands fully the lesson_ otevery experience, and when he- stores fhe es· se"nce of ,th, at experie~c,e in ~is cpnscio\!, sness,he.is on the positive side' Qf,' life, • He can control nothing until he ean control himself', and, only then can he cooperate with another, ThereiQie, thi~ is why A).ll"li Balancing has become one of man's necessary stepping stones, to a f)illl understanding .and, a greater expression of his higherpatterns,

Balance supportsereativiry. Man may be tvise not to suppress his nat:uml inclinations, £01' suppression may lead to destructive pattern. He can.opIy under-stand his natural inclinations. Suppression, in the' emotional body of man is like a dam in the stream of life, It obstructs Iilie flow of the life force which limits the expression of consciousness a_lid hinders t;be cre:ativity. Suppression can and does cause distress and disease in the physical bod;Yi which in turn is destructive to those centers or vortices which function to generate the radiant

energy of the Light. '

In the emotional matUrity of taan's understanding of himself, he becomes willing to assume the full resposrsihility for his. actions and tlleit Teactions. There is no experience that cannot be forgiven. There is no fear eh"t cannot be supplanted with faith.

Man is polarized to the spirhy~l Light in his head=Jn the world of cause ~and he is polarized to the world of effect at the solar plexus vortice, He projects into space all that he is at his point of development, and when he chang-es his consciousnes_s,there isa manifestation left inspace of what he was. All his motivations arise in his heart, and he generates them into action tlil'ough his mind, and they arise into the world of Cause, and then descend into the physical world as effect where they come into manifestation. Ifman is egotistically motivated, that which he sends ant returns to him, in the form of a cross-a cross of his own wm-~and the effort to discipline himself is his crucifixion. Time after time he misses the mark of balance. Wbe'n man learns the Iimiration of his selfish ego, he can humbly ask for help and can receive it from others who have traveled the same path. He can be brought into the consciousness of the Oneness of all tliings; the Cosmic Power of the universe. This is t,r;uly the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man.

After the endocrine system unites its £:unctions" the single eye of the spiritual body opens. "The light of the body is theeye: therefore, when thine eye is single, thy whole body is full of Light." Luke 11:.34.

When t_he will of man and the will of God become aligned, with no deviation, man is resurrected as a cross. of Light, and he serves both in heaven and earth. The spiritual Light, about which is wn't:ten here, appears to the Inner vision with the brilliance of the sun and purity of the moon. This brilliance and. purity is fused and mixed co form the Radiance. The solar vibrations are absorbed daily by the earth. The pull of the moon is evidenced by the tides and the rythmns in the sexual structure of woman. Man absorbs the solar vibrations of the sun as radiated to the earth through the sole's of his feet. He pulls into his body the spiri~ua~ puyity of th.e moon through the top of his head. They meet and fuse within h15 body-If there ate no obsrructions-s-ro the Light. It is the purpose o.f the Aura Balancer to aid in the removal of the blocks so that there may he an even flow-of both.

When one comes int? the balancing room as a Light Bearer, he brings the totality of his own tripity to be used in support. of the Balancer. He presents .himself to tilt: Master Force to be used as a source in whatever \Nay this Force may see fit. He himself does nothing. He sits in silence with no partip?-lar inte~est !n the procee?ings, an~ ~is only purpose fa! being there is,.the gIvmg gf hIS LIght and radiate unopiniated love. The Light that the LIght

Bearer generares is used by the Master Force to encircle [he Balancee so that only that which is -good and necessary for the growth of the Balancee may enter. Both the Light Bearer and the Balancer should be objective in their attitude and should have no emotional involvement with theone being balanced. It is not. advisable for teachers to hold the Light .£or their students; husbands and wives should not hold the Light for each other. Neither should relatives oome into the balancing r0011,1 to hold the Light, for no matter how objective one may believe himself to be, be may be involved karmically on tbesubconscious level,

The Light Bearer must be free. from attitudes. He needs to adopt the attitude of, .... What ~s tha~ to. thee, t~ke up thy Cross an~ follow thou M.e." If he has dlffieulty m mamtammg this attitude, ,he may discover that hehimself has a.bloek in the same area as the person being balanced.

The persons bestfiued to be Light Bearers are those who are wellgrounded in the physical and are spiritually attuned. Their feet are planted firinly en the ground of earth. The sale of each foot is. for the purpose of pulling thegreat Cosmic Power so that the Light can be well grounded for all those concerned. In a great many instances, the Balancer will discover that as the ~pirit~:u: Light is poured through th~ pendulum, ~t will Row put. aga,in through 'leaks 10 the aura. A grellt many times as the Light pours m, It will pass out

asain throug:h tht;, feet of the l?al.anG~e, and the Light Bearer is asked to hold his hands WIth hIS palms tadiatmg Int.!:! the soles of the feet of the person being balanced:

The presence ala good Light Bearer in the Balancing R09m is of inestimatable value to the Balancer. A channel usually has his mind and attention focused on other realms, and a Light Bearer's assignment is to radiate his Light for the channel's use and protection. and a Light Be"rer. whose assignment. it is to protect a channel uses his abilities for this particular purpose.

Thoughtforms And Entities

CHAPTER VIlT

All the manifest world was first created by Spirit .and then formed by thought. There is nothing which we have in the manlfeStwofld tedayrhat was not first a thought in the mind of someone. When man thinks a thought and formulates it in his mind, fills :it with desire ana @fuotion,and activates it with physical action, he brings it into outer and inner manifestation. However, under the right of free will, through the power of imagination, man is either the Builder or the Destroyer. for ·he can use his thought power either to build or destroy. He can use it positively or negatively. Man has used his emotions in a negative way for so many Iifetimes and so often, that the negative emotions seem more powerful than the positive ones:

1£ the emotional impetus to commit a crime' comes from a deep-seated hate or rebellion. a person endows his endeavor with a great deal more emotional force than the :Onpetus he uses to go to a nine-co-five job every day. A criminal wiII pour a great deal more thought force and emotional impetus, for instance. into his plans for robbing a bank than the man who i$ hired to protect the bank from the robbery.

The more energy and emotion that is poured' into a thought form the more dense it becomes. The more often the thoughts and the emotions are repeated, the mote activated the thought form becomes. People can be disturbed by two, ikinds of thought forms, those they have created and those that someone else has created and projected to them. An Aura Balancer may be called upon to remove either one of these 1:','10 types of thought formsthe ones the Balancee himself has created and which are attached to his aura, or the ones which have been directed to the Balancee by someone else and which are attached to the Balancee'saura,

In one of the case histories on record with regard to Balancing, a thoughtform curse was removed from an aspirant. The thought form' had been projected as a curse by a grandfather in Germany against a son (the father of the woman being balanced) because the ,son decided to leave German)' to avoid the draft there in Worla War 1. The grandfather cursed the son and ,all his progeny with great emotion and hatred. In consciousness. tile son accepted the curse as deserved and felt gnilty. T'he thought form was mobile and attached itself to the auras' of all the members of the family g~neration after generation. Members of the family died of canter; were alcoholics and suffered from emotional illness. The thought form w:as attached ,to the Balancee on her right side just above the waist. When the Balancer disco.vered. the .place of attachment: the pendulum, he Was holding flew out of his hand with such force that rt landed across the room. 'The Balancer was aware what was taking place and a conference was held .by the Balancer. the Clairvoyant and the Light-Bearer, and it W<.lS decided to use two Balanoers, one on each side of the Balances, combining the Light of two .pendulums. The thought form was trapped between the two force fields. After the thought form was removed, the woman's whole life changed and strangely enough the life of her entire family. The woman herself changed in. appearance to such an extent that acquaintances failed to recognize her when they met her. A thought form_ of this typ~ is destroyed and dissolved

31

by the Light in the force field furnished by those in the Balancing Room.

Thoughts about suicide are often thought forms projected into the am:a bv someone else. The author was amazed one afternoon to hear one of her-friends calmly and without emotion state that he was going to put her affairs in order :and commit suicide. The girl was scheduled for a balancing that evening and a thought form was removed from her aura. To the clairvoyant, it appeared shinny and black like patent leather with a definite fmm and shape. The thought form had been projected by the girl's mother, who was ill. The mother did pot want to leave this plane of action with the daughter remaining here .. The mother kept projecting to the daughter that the daughter pre-decease her wi th deep emotional desire. The daughter OQ _ receiring it. aeeepted it as her own desire and' wish. After the balancing, she bad no more trouble. She was gi.ven instructions on how to protect herself Imm snch a :proje£tion from another and how to control her. own emotions, 50 she would not be led down this path again.

"'hen one prays for another, this roo creates a thought Iorm, When it • empowered with love and devotion, it 'is colored with a beautiful, bluegreen light, and if the prayer is projected by a deeply spiritual person, it ,.,-iI1 burst-intd the aura of the recipient with a lovely shower of fireworks with a soothing and uplifting "effect. When such a prayer is projected to someone who has passed on to another plane, it has an up-lifting and releasing eJfea;, 50 it behooves us to remember our loved ones who have made their transitions and pray for Itheir well-being.

MOlit of us at sometime or another have feI trapRed, by circumstances and experiences in life. We feel, usually, that we cannot mange these circmnstances for some reason and there is no way out. In agreal many instances, these emorionally-Ioaded circumstances are on an unconscious 4level without conscious thought, and a person 'will cut off, supress or short-circuit his leelings. so that he won't feel so intently, One young lady who received a Bal-aru:i:ng. had a mother who screamed at bel' in a loud, and raucous voice when ~ was a small child. The child was sensitive, loved beautiful music and the beauties of the natural world. She liked to play with the neighborhood children, but she wasn't allowed to do so because the mother insisted that ~. were dirty, .ill-kept and with no manners. She was also told that she ,,'& "better" than they were. Whenever she found her daughter playing ... --iIh these children, she screamed at her about her disobedience and' punish. eel her by puttmg her in the attic to review her "sins". Her mother insisted thar she pray to God 'for forgiveness, for her disobedience and would not let her leave the attic until she had .done so. -

On th,e Balancing' table, the young lady came to the- realization that in order to prevent jhe rebellion and frustrating feelings within perseH, with the power of her mind, she "tuned out" the sound of her mother's voice ~ shuttingofE her own, hearing and refusing to listen. She was .deaf on ocasion because. her hearing "came and went." An ear of itself cannot hear, om- an eye of itself cannot see, but one hears and sees with the mind, so she easib- "short-circruted" her hearing mechanism, so . she could not hear and, mmequeml • not suffes the feeling which welled within her.

The Balancer was able to bring her [Q a realization of her feelings. She re;oIed to put fo rh an effort to give mental attention to her emotions, to absen--e what she felt and under what circumstances. She resolved' to conciomIy handle her feelings, especially her guilt feelings, in a correct manner. She ,<IS siTen the assurance thaj she wasn't a "bad girl" after all and that

32

there was nothing "wrong:' with her fe~lings. In essence she £qr.gave'Iiersel:r.

It remains to be seen whether or not her llearipg will improve, for this was 4

not the purpose of the Balancing,

- , .

The blocked-off feelings, the a.qgers which we have hot felt free to express, our fears and anxieties return to haunt us in many ways. They act as barriers to our spiritual fulfillment, There are teachings which state that it is not necessary for us to bring these anxieties and feelings to the surface. but when the spiritual. Light comes, everything in the darkness is revealed, "'Then a dark room is flooded with Light, nothing in it remains hidden, and in the same manner, the sp:iFitual Light will illu.m,mate the darkest recesses, Darkness cannot overcome the Light; even the tinie,st candle can light the darkness.

One of the most formidable barriers to spiritual unfoldment i~ a thought formulated as to What we think we should be, but what we feel we aren't. 'Ve provide an idealistic frafnework and take <In emotional strangle-hold on ourselves and force ourselves to fit into this framework. This im*gina.t:y framework isn't what we really are at all, but what we think we should be in order to be acceptable to others. Our real selves are the lost sheep. During our IjV(;lS we have 'often been made 19 feel that ·if we would really and truly be OUI: true selves, we would he so detestable we couldn't possibly be loved. Actually, the opposite is true. The (rue essence of each of us needs to be trusted, doved and appto"ved. We need to know that we can trust our feelings, and that we are fully capable of exercising emotional control. Thisabil'ity to exercise emotional control, and the belief in our true selves is our eraser with which we can erase our own thought forms and with whim ,we- can establish ourselves in our true identity and not a made up one. When we ·go against our true nature, we cqm,mJ.t emotional suicide; we create a state of embtitmat uneensclousness which results in a state of not knowing exactly what' we, (ed or what our true !feelin~ really are.

'iVilli the removal of the emotional "barriers, we are enabled to extend ou consciousness In all+directions. Our intuitive qualities are enhanced to a ];>oint where we can determine by the way we feel about a situation what r1ie tnlt'h about it really is. ''''hen we walk into a room, we can feel whether it is 'right' or whether there is something wrong, it isn't difficult todeterrnine what ,is wrong for we can identify the feeling and emotion we are experiencing. A sensitized emotional nature can be utilized in many, many ways to

enhance an intuitive nature. .

An entity, attached to a person's aU17a, can be described as a consciousness which has left his physical body, usually through death, and through his desire to remain on earth, has made the actachmeni, Sometimes entities have been attracted to an aura through the desire of a person on the physical side of life desiring tto contact that one who has made a transition to the. other side. By projecting a thought with a desire to communicate, a way 'has been opened for an attachment. It is a dangerous practice for anyone to send forth a desire into the ether-with the Intent of contacting anyone on the other side of life, for the desire can open up an avenue for possession.

A you:n.g mother became frightened because 'she had done this very thing, and she cNTIe in .for an Aura Balancing. She was employed and a baby sitter cared fortilie child during the day. One day wben she called for the baby, the sitter was communicating through the oujiboard and she invited the mother to participate. The young mother became fascinated by the "game", and it wasn't long before she was using the. palm of her. left hand to

33

receive "yp" and "no" answers through the fingers- of her right hand, S00n she began to "hear" voices, and the things she heard' were fr~glltening. She alse became aware that these disincarnate bei~gs were annoying the, baby also. He awakened In the night and screamed and cried a great deal which he had never done before. She also discovered that the child could see 'the el\tit)' and would hold out "his food to share it with _ him. She was '''told'' by <me particular entity that he didn't- want her on this side of life any more, but on the other side With him, One day when she was crossing the street, she felt a shove in her back and barely missed being hit by an automobile. She became frightened When, she discovered that she had no control over what was happening to her.

-, 11: took four appointments to clear the aura and .remove the entities. The Aura Balancer was able to do ibis through the mother's own desire to be cleared, and through her desire to understand her own emotional weakness and involvement. She was a, good mother and loved her baby son dearly. This was a positi-ve, strong force 'in her favor and helped greatly in making the clearance possible,

There have been cases, however, where the person became, as attached to the ~ntity as the entity did to them. Even though they came in to be Balanced, 'it was discovered, by getting at the fundamental truth of the situa.tion, the person did not want to give 'Up the attachment. Furthermore, he was deriving a great deal of. satisfaction out of being the center ofattention and dramatizing his predicament,

The Master Jesus warned of this type of danger in the [1 th Chapter of Luke. In the 26th verse, He tells of a man who had been cleared of an unclean spirit. "Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state ef that man is worse than the first." This same warning holds [.me ioday, for one must be careful 'in removing one entity that seven more do not enter.

-Entities have been known to congregate in bar rooms because of the alcoholic fumes generated by drinking. They have also been known to influence people to become alcoholics so they can vicariously enjoy the effects of the drunkness, If one suffers from a loss of energy for no apparent reason, and if one is more tired on awakening than when he retired, it is very possible that an entity is attached to the aura. Unreasonable and uncontrolled out-breaks of temper can be strongly suspect as an entity attachment. When one loses his temper, ~t causes a split to allpear in the aura and an attachment can 'be made easily,

The Master Force of Light is always present in the Balancing Room, and <it is thi:-ough this Presence and Light that the balancing is achieved. If a disincamate entity is, attached to a person's aura, the entity can be redirected by the Master Force. The person being balanced cannot willfully hold on to the entitywith either his conscious or his unconscious mind' and be forced to give up the attachment. He must want both consciously and unconsciously to give ll-P the attachment.

An entity and a thought 'form both may emit an unpleasant odor. A thought form will actually melt and disappear in the presence. of the 'Light, just as a cloud of smoke wafts away, bur an entity is a soul consciousness and cannot be disintegrated. An entity is always approached, with love, understanding and compassion, but never with fear. Regardless of the £.ommission of his crime, he, too, deserves the opportunity to forgive hiJ;psel£ and gain his opportunity to serve .the Light as every other soul, so be is" alwa-ys 'handled with love, consideration, kindness and understanding.

34

A possessing entity does not like the odor of garlic or iodine. Five or six drops of iodine in a glass of water placed on a nig1;tt table in one's bedroom where one sleeps is also a good protection. If one has a sore throat which fails to heal quickly, a small piece of garlic consumed about three times a day for four days assures one of adequate protection.

It has also been discovered that the living will take energy from the living. A mother can take energy from her child and nor be aware of it, or a child may take energy from her mother, It is best that pa.rents and children never sleep together in the same room. It has been discovered throughbalancing the aura, that a great many problems in a person's life have stemmed from the sexual activity between parents sleeping in the same room with the child. A child's unconscious is open and receptive when it sleeps and on the unconscious level, knows of all the activities taking place ,in a room while it sleeps. It often happens that a child will pretend ro be sleeping when he isn't. When this happens, the child does not have the emotional and mental maturity to handle the information he has thus received nor does he have the inclinarion to discuss his feelings, and so all the fear and apprehension becomes "locked" in and will emerge in unsuspected behavior and emotional problems.

For the best' protection against any kind of psychic attack or as a P1'Otection against an energy loss, the Etheric Attunemenc is recommended. This is not an Aura Balancing, as the Aura Balancing has to do with putting the bodies of man in harmony with each other. The Etheric Attunement has to do with aligning the etheric sheath of an individual along the meridians of the etheric body, so as to form a sack, or envelope 'around the erheric body as protection.

35

The Etheric Attunement CBAPTER IX

The outside of the aura is covered by a sheath often referred to as the auric sheath. It is outside of the aura itself. Under most conditions and Circumstances the aura of an individual should not be more than n;il1e or ten inches from the physical body, In most instances, if it extends further than this, one will suffer through sensitivity so the aura should be kept at a distance where it is receptive, kind and gentle, but dose enough to the physical so that its tender roots are not crushed, The ribbons of- Ioree in the auric sheath are outside of the aura and about eleven to fifteen inches from the physical body.

It is against this sheath that the etheric body is bombarded by all kinds of "flotsam and jetsam" of tile inner realms. Man seldom thinks of his body in this adjusting realm; however the energy travels up and clown his body just as does the fluid in the spine; the stronger lines of force are at the center or middle of the body and the weaker lines arc on the puter. edge. There is one strong, vibrant line of force directly in the center of the bQdy and there are five lines on each side of the center Iine, These lines Il'Iill Irom each toe and each finger to the top of the head. Lengthwise, the bedy is divided into three sections. The first section is from the bottom of the feet tethe waist; the second from the waist to the neck and the third from the neck LO the top of the head.

1n order for a person to operate at his spiritual, inrellecrual and physiEal energy peak, the energy should flow up and down these meridians unimpeded and uninterrupted, If one were to stand back and view this process, it would appear as train-loads of energy traveling up and down the body on an elevated stairway, If there is a "break" in the track, there is an energy Ieak.

These lines of energy force can be likened to Jacob's ladder descending from heaven to earth, and ascending from earth to heaven. There is a balanced inter-change of energy from the two levels. The Aquarian man of the New Age can be likened unto a million-jeweled dock. He draws his energy into his electronic force-field from the universe along the ribbons. of force in the auric sheach in order to keep the "motors" in tune and running, 'The atomic stnucrure of the rhysical body can be so changed and so protected by the interchange of universa energy that it can withstand atomic radiation.

The purpose of the Etheric Arummenr is two-fold. It is formulated 'as a protection against any kind of psychic attack and entity possession and 'to give an added impetus to the achievement of a definite goal or purpose. 1-\'1ten one .has a definite purpose or goal to achieve, whether it is spiritual, emotional or on a physical level, the purpose should be held clearly in mind while the Attunement is being given, so that until the time arrives when the goal is achieved, all the energies being used shall be harmonized to work together for

the achievement. .

The person receiving the Attunement is placed on the table on his back with his hands raised even with his head and his arms slightly bent. The pendulum is held about twelve inches from the body, and IE will swing down the meridians of the body starting at the top of the middle of the head and traveling counter-clockwise down the body. In doing an Atrunrnent, a different frequency of Light is used than is used in doing an Aura. Balancing. As' the Atruner goes down the body, the pendulum swinging in a counter-clockwise

36

motion will stop at the ankles, or [he toes, as the case may be, and as the Attuner starts. back up the meridians, the pendulum will swing in a clockwise motion. The Attuner goes down the body and hack six times on each side. The auric sheath is egg-shaped and as stated before, the \v"(~aker lines of force are on the outer side and will break off from the outside helow the knee and at the ankle. The center line being 'the strongest! it extends the longest even past the tip of the big toe.

Attuning the ribbons of force in the auric sheath can be likened to tuning the different notes on the keyboard of a large organ. All the "A" keys must be tunedwitheach other. All the stringed instrnrnents in anerthestra must he in tune with each other and with the other Instruments before they play In harmony. The same holds true in the Auric Auunernent.all the lines care lmt in tunewith each other so that they will W017k in harmony and so that the inflow of energy wiII be rhythmic and uninterrupted.

Most of us have not come through the emotional on laught of every tla~' modern living without having the ribbons afforce "cut and slashed' making it necessary for the Jines to be purfied, clarified and stitched back together, The radiation of the Light through the pendulurnactually stitches the lines of force together with a "cross stitch" as the pendulum goes down the body in a counter-clockwise motion and up with a clockwise motion.

If tht; lines of force are out of alignment, the Attuner wiJI know itimmediat~ly as t.he l?enduluID will start to s'Y~ng, l1?t in a do.?kw~se 0: counterdockw;lserp'OtlOll) but back and forth. It will connnue to swmg III this manner until the ribbon is repaired. In some instances, these "~lashe~I' or breaks will appear on each line g.o'i.ng down .and coming back at the same place in the sheath, It seems (0 the Att.iiner just <IS if someone had taken a knife and IJ;).ade a slash across the auric sheath. It may run straight across or diagonally, as the case may be. As the pendulum travels up and down the body, when it strikes one of these slashes, the pendulum will stop and repair it on the line. Through his own sensitivity to that wliich he is doing, the Attuner knows instantly when a break in the field is approaching. It seems to telegraph its presence. III this respect, the Etheric Atturiernent is different than the Aura Balancing. In Aura B~lancin$"' the Balancer cannot perceive a block ora (;han&:~ in the ~0W of the Light as It fl:ow~ through tl)c pendulum. Au Atruner, who lS exp€J:lenc.ed and sensitized, can also pass his hands up and down about twelve inches from the body and feel Where the lines are out of atturnnent, It feels to the Artuner as if there were a hump on the line or as if there w~re a change in the viscosity of the substance of the sheath.

In an Aura Balancing, the faster the pendulum swings the greater the 'Erequency of the Light being poured into the vortiees, but in an Etheric Attunement, the greater the frequency of the Light. the slower the pendulum swings.

The causes of .the slashes and cuts in the lines of force can be many: As this is a new science, the more it is practiced the ~eater rhe Dumber of facts concerning. it wiII bediscovered, The Master Jesus said, "And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain." (Jviatthew5:41) Many 'Of \1S are willing to go the first mile in our spiritual work. We are willing to do it if it fils ,into the, schedule and pr~·gJam t;Jf the physical wodd 'activities. Jf theteis any nme left over, ,o!:, If there IS ~O.tl~l!lg else fOF \IS to do" we.may or may not take care of our spiritual responSibIlIties. However, the minute that we do not incorporate our spiritual responsibilities with our physical responsibilities, we cut the energy li~es of force in O~l: ~uric 'shea~ and are operati."8: energy-wise below the potentia] of our capabilities. The rmrmte we are unwilling to "walk the second mile", we have cut ourselves 01I from our full potential of energy intake.

37

98

If we are spiritually motivated in all that we do, we align ourselves with the universal How of energy; but if we are materially minded and collecting material wealth is our sale motivating power. we cut ourselves off from the Source of all energy. It mak-es little difference in what field of endeavor you earn your living, whether you are in the scientific field, teach school, are connected with the building industries, the space program. or the medical field, if you are individually attuned and yau can increase the power of your "motor", you can serve mankind in a much better way.

The meridians running up and down the left side of the body keep one attuned to the physical inflow of energy. The meridians running up and down the right side of the body keep one attuned to the spiritual energy inflow. The Auric Attunement is performed so that the "notes" of the physical harmonic are in tune with the notes of the spiritual harmonic.

Two thousand years ago, the Master Jesus told us that our Father and we are One and in Aura Balancing we align ourselves with this Principle. On the physical side of life, a rapid 01" a slow pulse, a sub-normal or above-normal temperature, a high or low blood pressure would indicate that a person is not in tune with the universal flow of the dynamic set for earth. A person with <L pulse beat in the sixties can be said to be operating on a dynamic below that of the earth plane. Such a condition could set the stage for an entity to enter the aura, because the electro-magnetic field around the body is not functioning at the correct rate of vibration for adequate protection.

If a person operates below the level of the earth dynamic, he is constantly trying to bring his vibrational field up to "par" and to keep the energy-rhythm of his universe intact. This below-par vibrational field could be referred to as a "Twilight Zone", because at twilight there is a fading of the light.

If there is no one available to give an Erheric Atrunment, an individual can attune himself by lying on the bed and visualizing the energy Bowing into his hands and feet and traveling by the "train-load" up and down the meridians of his body. This helps to align the lines of force, but having the Attunement done by another is more satisfactory because of the additional frequency furnished by the Attuner.

There is another mental exercise which helps to protect one from psychic attack and having an entity attach itself to the aura. This is performed by visualizing the entire body surrounded with the pure white Light of the Christ. This is an act of visualization in the mind's eye-seeing the physical body with the auric extension oI the etheric body surrounded by a complete circle of pure white Light through which nothing can penetrate. This act of visualization can be performed under any set of circumstances anywhere. It can be used when one is under a verbal, emotional attack 01' when in physical danger. One can also use it as an "invisible cloak" by visualization of the white Light turned inward and seeing the outside as a dull grey blending with the atmosphere so that those of lesser densities are not attracted by the Light. Some metaphysicians visualize themselves encased in a brilliantly lighted cylinder on the inside with a "lid" securely fastened, so that nothing 01' no one can enter.

To be properly attuned is to be properly protected. When there is a break in the auric sheath, the one being ~ttu":ed sho~ld be apprized of the fact so that he can be allowed to help rebuild his own lines of force. He can be asked to take several deep breaths and this will bring in added energy with whicb to do the repair work.

Regeneration CHAPTER X

"The body is the outer court of the soul and the exact representative, in form, of the ideals that are revolving in the INNER realms of its DOMAIN." (Metaphysical Bible Dictionary)

When a man makes a change in his consciousness, the cellular structure of the physical vehicle goes through a change also. There is a breaking up of cells and new cells take their place; therefore, the conscious giving up of old ideas, the meeting of oneself in a situation and resolving it, is a process of REGENERATION, a transmutation occurring when the new takes over for the old ..

As man raises the consciousness to a finer attuned understanding, the soul is released from emotioanl trauma existing because of guilt and selfrecrimination. As a result of this releasement, the soul has the ability to accept a deeper understanding of its true Self; therefore, because of this the soul is constantly attracting to Itself situations which are needful and necessary to bring it to the realization of its higher Self.

The soul consciousness in each individual has the capability of total and complete alignment with the Truth in the fullest, strongest and deepest sense. The soul consciousness constantly seeks that which wi1l harmonize it with the Source itself.

Day by day, as the soul is purified through a unified effort, it is lifted out of that density which keeps it anchored. It can channel from the Source into the body consciousness a changed vibratory frequency, establishing a finer substance, a better balance and health.

The technique of Aura Balancing is a helpful tool in the development of man's understanding of himself, his feelings and his mission. REGENERATION take on a new meaning when, day to day, the soul accepts the united effort to lift itself 01)t of the body consciousness into the universal frequency established by the finer substance of over-all understanding and manifestation in our personal lives.
