What Have We Done This Year


Made sure all signs were hung up.

Introduced Simley Pride to all students.


Nominated students for the Simley Pride award. Students received letters at home acknowledging

they had been nominated. Two PBIS stories are being completed each month for Spartan Spotlight.

Final Thoughts
Thank you to the PBIS team for taking the time to

learn about PBIS, develop a school matrix, and plan to carry out this initiative. PBIS has shown the number of referrals, dismissals and suspensions has lowered each year since beginning this initiative. As a result, students miss less class-time

As students mature and are taught the expectations

we have of them, the types of behaviors students are written up for change and the referral rates go down.
