    Christmas Time

    1 cup butter (120 gr.) cup sugar (120 gr.) 3 cups flour (300 gr.) cup Golden Syrup (or honey) 1 egg 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon ground ginger teaspoon salt teaspoon ba!ing soda

    ginger Cream the butter. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add cloves" cinnamon and ginger. Mix in the egg and Golden Syrup (honey). Add the flour" ba!ing soda and salt. Divide dough into three pieces. Wrap each third in plastic. Chill for at least one hour or overnight. Heat oven to 3#0 degrees $ (1%# degrees &). Roll dough. Cut 'ith coo!ie cutters. Place coo!ies on ba!ing sheet . Bake until crisp but not dar!ened (()10 minutes). Cool completely. Decorate as desired.
