(NASPE 2.26; MA CF 2) Rules and Regulations: Each team executes the pull shot, front drive, and back foot attack in this game. The team that is fielding will have a pitcher that does a cricket pitch to the batter. For the batting team you will have the batter that is up at bat and then the runner up batter is at the wicket across from him ready to run. The batter looks to the coach who is third on deck to give him instruction. The team before the game will make up signals. One for the pull shot, one for the front drive and one for the back foot attack. The coach will call one of these signals and that is the hit that the batter must complete. Once the batter hits the ball he or she and the other batter will run back and forth between the wickets until the wicket is knocked off. They will total how many runs they got between the two of them and add it to their teams score. The students will rotate from coach to runner to batter and then to the end of the line. While they are waiting the students must cheer on their team. Once the students have completed a full rotation through their lineup they will switch to the outfield. There are no outs in this game. Safety Tips: Students should be aware of the batter and watch out for flying cricket balls. Be aware of your classmates will running to the ball Diagram:

Extensions: Down: An extension for this game would be for all of the outfielders to touch the ball before they can knock the wicket off. Up: Another one would be including outs in the game when the ball is caught and when the pitcher knocks the wickets off. Reference: This was a self made activity
