CLASSROOM BEHAVIORAL AND EMOTIONAL EXPECTATIONS


Behavioral & Emotional:
Fairness: defined to a primary age student as Everything is equal and distribution of goods or assignments of time must be the same for everyone (Krogh & Groark, 2013). Tattling: Children develop an understanding of the purpose, creation, and importance of rules. They become very focused on being sure that people follow rules, especially people other than themselves. From their viewpoint, it then becomes equally important to report to the teacher any infractions Krogh & Groak, 2013)

Prosocial Development:
Build strong relationships with students Welcoming and safe environment Model prosocial behavior in all actions Be clear in expectations by both words and actions Patience and repetition are the keys to being successful
