Teaching DIFFICULT martial arts concepts to children!

What is strange is that the learning abilities of a 5 year old child, sometimes are NOT that much different in the learning skills of a 32 year old "intelligent " women. Sometimes they were just NEVER taught how to tell the right hand from the left h and. Or the right foot from the left foot. Easy to solve. 1. I put "red" on the right hand... 2. And I put "black" on the left hand. Then I just point out the correlation, again and again until their brain and bod y knows it subconsciously. "Talking" will NOT fix the problem. Remembering what was "said" will NOT fix the problem, or install the proper visu als and proprioceptives. It MUST BE a "visual" <-----> "Kinesthetic" connection that is hardwired (both w ays). To the lady that could NOT remember how to body-shift, I just put RED duck-tape on the right shoe... ...and left the left shoe black. Then I had her "feel the pressure in the red foot", versus the pressure in the b lack foot. Then I took her through "Darkness" (a martial arts waza) using those "pressures" and using those "colors". Within minutes she easily learned a technique that she'd been attempting to "tal k" herself though for a year. Interesting. After 15 to 20 repetitions the red duck tape can be removed. Except for Richard Nowacki, and we left it on his mouth. Just kidding. He's a great student and friend that we love to "kid". Dr. John La Tourrette

Just do this... First come to agreement with yourself that you "accept and appreciate" those par ticular characteristics that you want from the element you want. The Peak Performance Installation is neat for this. Then find a "model" who is that element, and that you appreciate...or even don't appreciate.

Make sure you know how to NLP model that person's analogue, behavior, word choic es, walking, talking, etc. Then turn that thought-form into an energy thought-form. Now step into it and pretend to BECOME them as you "act like them". So your calibrations skills IN ALL SENSES must be very well trained. Presto! Dr. John La Tourrette
