Risk to project Pictures that we want off a photo library are blocked, which means we cant use them.

Contingency plan If we are not able to download a certain picture off a photo library due to York College banning it, we will need to just look elsewhere on a different photo library for a different photo. Whilst looking for the photos we want to use we can save backup photos if some of our first choices cant be used. If a photo cant be used because of copyright infringements we could politely email the owner and ask for permission.

Memory Stick Breaks or gets lost

If our memory stick with all our work on it gets lost or somehow broke, we need to work in advance and back all this work up on to either another memory stick, or a hard drive on a computer. We will both make sure that we save our work to three different storage devices. Whether it is a computer, laptop or external hard drive it is key to back up work.

Computer freezes and unsaved work is lost

If the computer were to freeze, we would lose all of our work. To avoid this situation, we will make sure we save our work every time we do certain bit, whether it is a new paragraph in a piece of writing, or a new layer on Photoshop. If all is lost then we will have to swiftly catch up with the information fresh in mind and make sure time isnt wasted trying to find it.

Computer Breaks

Make sure that you have a back up workstation to use in the occurrence of your computer breaking. A secondary workstation will already be planned out so if the computer did break you would be ready to continue with work. This would be quite easy as there are lots of computers that we have access to in York College.

In the unlikely chance that one of us isnt here we will look at what needs to be done and we will do things that dont require both of us being there. All the work will be split between us at the beginning of the topic making the workload fair. We can email each other missed work or any person specific work if needs be this would keep us both up to date.

Fonts could get removed from dafont.com or other font websites

If the fonts that we were planning on using for our project were removed from dafont.com, we will have to have a couple of back up fonts just in case. If we really wanted that certain font that got taken off dafont.com we also have the choice of looking on other font websites too. We will backup fonts on to memory sticks so that every computer we go on has the potential to have all the fonts we need.
