On October 14, 2013, Mrs. Jackson and I reviewed the current standing of the media center at Gould Elementary in accordance to the 2013 Georgia Department of Education Library Media Program Evaluation Rubric. In this memo, I have summarized what she and I found during this evaluation, and the next steps for standards that did not fall into the Exemplary category (from Basic, Procient, Exemplary). Please refer to the GA DOE 2013 Library Media Program Evaluation Rubric for more information on each category. In the table below, B is Basic, P is Procient, and E is Exemplary. Also, the abbreviation LMS will refer to the Library Media Specialist.!

The LMS will continue to stay on top of advancements in technology. When funding permits, she can help schedule workshops on new media center technology. When it does not, she can collaborate with teachers with knowledge of use to help teach others
