DREAMS: ABYSMALLY INTRICATE

You squeal. You are frightened. You are excited. You wake up. (And due to that sometimes youre disappointed.) Dreams have often proved to be either the best thing or the most frustrating event for me in a day. Despite the whimsy, one thing is for sure that, dreams never fail to amaze me. Science has its own theories. Its said that its the unwonted activity of the brain when we are asleep. Surprising though it is, the fact conveys that the brain is very much active at night. It seems right, given the vast multitude of my own experiences. Experts may assign them less importance, but I think of dreams as a way of escape and sometimes, an inspiration. Its funny that I let something this unrealistic affect me quite me quite deeply and at times it can be dangerous even but ultimately, dreams, majority of times are reflections of what you want. And that is often hidden behind the faade of circumstances life throws at you. The wackiest of adventures, true realisations, enigmatic epiphanies and frequently, fragments of your own life reflect in these nocturnal tales and the strangest thing being that we forget most it by morning. I try connecting the bits together to make sense out of what I remember, a valuable investment of time, time and again. They drive me to my endeavours, indirectly answer my unresolved conundrums, show me flashbacks of the day, et al. But I most anticipate those instances, when I visualise what I desire. Those scenes seem to spring to life, even if a similar event from reality conveys things au contraire. In whichever way I put it, dreaming is indeed a very puzzling phenomena, which researchers are still investigating on. People seldom bother to analyse what they had dreamt about, which is nothing but missing out one of the many wondrous abilities of our mind. If looked at from the right perspective, one may find the clue to end a few of his or her inquisitions, which the mind is subconsciously and wordlessly revealing. So go on, enjoy this little individualised fragment of life and in the words of Aerosmith, DREAM ON!!
