Differentiation Strategies: Accommodations/Modifications: These students will be seated next the teacher. They will not do the assessment worksheet instead they will to the Tt worksheet. This gives them more practice in identifying the letter T and practice in writing the letter. It also gives examples of what begins with the letter T. Extensions: For the students that already can write the letter T and recognize its sound, they will do the assessment sheet as their practice and the What begins with T worksheet from Kidzone as their assessment. This allows for them to write the letter T and determine what begins with T. The students will also create a letter T book. Materials and Resources: The Letter T worksheet What begins with T? worksheet What begins with T? worksheet from KidZone Tt worksheet My Itsy Bitsy Letter T book

Reflection: The overall feel of this lesson went really well. The students were very attentive and interacted well with me throughout the lesson. I was very impressed with their attentiveness throughout the lesson especially with it being so early in the morning. I think the two typical students understood the point of the lesson better than the students receiving services. I think for them I should focus more on seeing the letter t in print and in their surroundings. The teacher is really working on the students handwriting, so in that aspect I think the typical students did well with

practicing writing the letter T. I wonder how appropriate that is for the typical students with their fine motor skills.
