My goal is to become a Clinical Nurse Leader within the surgical continuum, to serve as a group motivator who oversees care coordination and to apply evidence-based practice to benefit healthcare delivery. I strive to continue education, training and skills to enhance my position in the nursing profession. As a Registered Nurse I have: Displayed an exceptional ability to autonomously observe, examine, identify problems and implement plans of care to deliver safe, effective and quality primary patient care. Recognized by peers in a clinical setting as an excellent care provider and patient advocate. Received Nurse of the Year award. Demonstrated exceptional ability to use critical thinking skills in order to identify patient needs and prioritize patient care by providing safe environment. Outstanding interpersonal and therapeutic communication skills, along with the ability to successfully educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventative therapies.
