Scenario
Customer wants that each Maintenance Agent to be able to see only the work orders of their Area.

Steps
1. Creation of a profile option to store the default area of each agent, 2.Personalization of the maintenance workbench form.

1 Creation of the profile option

Resp. Application Developper > Profile
Tip1: Please note the Name of your profile option carefully, you will have to use it without LOV . Tip2: your custom application (XX_...) Tip3: Visible name of the profile option Tip1 Tip2 Tip3

Script to enter: SQL="select location_id \"LOC ID \", location_codes \"Loc Code\" into :profile_option_value, :visible_option_value from mtl_eam_locations " COLUMN="\"LOC ID \"(10), \"Loc Code\"(20)" Enter a value for one of your users

Resp. System Administrator > Profile > System

Enter in Personalization mode.

To fill the field Area with the value in the profile option created in step1 Tip4: XX_AREA is the Name of the profile option created in step1 (there is not LOV to enter it). Dont forget = before the expression.

To avoid the users to change the value of the field Area.

Save and test.
