Procedure for N Computing Users:

1.Switch on the N Computing L300 device on the back side of the monitor. After switching it on within next two minutes the below screen would pop-up:

Refresh the Server List press the Refresh button if the server name is not already displayed. As in the below diagram:

To setup the screen resolution, we need to choose the Device settings option on the pop-up window. Within that Window, under the Login Settings TAB, the standard Windows screen saver must be used which is as highlighted here:

this setting operates within the device firmware to help prevent screen burn-in.

The Device Setup

Device Network Name (use to identify the device within the vSpace administration console) IP Configuration

DHCP (dynamically obtains settings from the networks DHCP server)

Static Configuration (requires manual population of the IP settings) IP Subnet Mask Gateway DNS 1 DNS 2 Optimize for LAN WAN (this feature currently disabled)

How to creat a share folder Right click the mouse and select new in the you will get new folder click on the floder

Go to properties

Select sharing TAB In the sharing TAB, click on share ICON

Flile sharing screen appears as below:

Find the user to share the folder add the user whether you want to share it to everyone in the domain or a particular user

For a particular user, select the Find People option, then goto Advacned Option, then select Find Now option. Then select the user to whom the file is meant to be shared.

Then click on the share you will get this screen, select done

For assigning specific sharing rights to a particular user on a particular folder we need to opt for Advanced sharing option under Shared folder window. In the sharing window, select click on advanced sharing

click on permissions tab.
