Errorsincelldivisioncanreallyaffectthegeneticmakeupofanoffspring.Thiscanleadinto manydiseasesanddisorders.Itisimportantthatpeopleknowhowthiscanoccur,whatthe outcomeiswhenithappens,andtheeffectsoftheproblemsinourworldtoday. Ifanerrorduringmitosishappensonlythecellsthatarecopiedfromthatcellwillhavea change.Sothismeanstherewouldbetwodifferenttypesofcellsforminginthebodythisis knownasmosaicism.Thetwodifferenttypeswouldbethenormalgeneticpatternandthe changedgeneticpattern.Butiftheerrorwouldoccurinthesomaticcellitwouldnotbepassed on.Anotherwayofitnotbeingpassedonisifapoptosiswhichmeansthatthecheckpointwould fixthecellwiththeerrorsoritwoulddieatthecheckpoint.Ifitdoesntgetrepairedordiethena multipleofDNAchangesandthecellcyclemayleadtothecellsrepeatedlydivideoutofcontrol.
