Also, girls and boys with divorced families are more likely to have a divorce in the future, specifically at age 32. Divorce has an influence on adults in their relationships and self-esteem. Girls have low self-esteem because of poor relationships with their parents after they get divorced. Also, divorce has a big impact on girls socially later in their lives.
