5. be able to read phonetic transcriptions of short
utterances using the sounds studied in 2 & 3
and accurately reproduce them vocally
6. show an awareness of the possible roles of tone
and intonation in speech
7. demonstrate increased confidence in hearing
and reproducing speech sounds.
