Date: 3 February, 2014 To: Dr. Steffen Guenzel From: Rebecca Finnerty Subject of my paper: The Walt Disney World Resort Purpose: My Major and why writing about this topic will be beneficial to me: I am a double major in Event Management and Hospitality Management with a concentration in Theme Park Management. I think that in doing this research paper I can have a better understanding of Disneys values and how they create a unique and captivating experience for guests. Preliminary Thesis/Argument: This is a working thesis, however it stands that Walt Disney World uses a specialized form of marketing and experience to create lifelong loyalties to the brand. Intended audience: The everyday person, someone who is interested in customer service. Types of research areas: In this research I can use Scholarly, Internet, and Field Research Kinds of sources I will use and why they will benefit my paper: I plan to use a mix of sources, from books to articles and journals, and academic papers as well.
