Anujnaa (permission)

Before starting the homam, think in your mind of Mother Earth who is bearing you, Lord Ganesha who removes obstacles , your ishta devta (favourite deity), your parents , the rishis of your gothra ( if you know them), all the rishis and all your gurus. Then say the following , while mentally requesting all te gods to co-operate with your homam.
