Incident Report (AP connectivity error)

Start time: 17:30 End time: 19:00 Summary User were unable to connect with AP in HQ Chakshehzad through CMPak and CMPak Guest. .

Diary of Events Time Incident 17:30 Both SSID CMPak and CMPak-Guest were unable to connect 18:00 After Diagnostic in the Basement, SSID were connectable 18:15 3rd Floor AP were restarted one by one. 18:20 19:00 User started connecting on 3rd Floor. In all the Floors SSID were working.

Remarks We were informed at 17:30

In the Presence of Zong Help Desk.

When AP were came up users started connecting through both SSID All the Floors AP were rebooted, and after Reboot all start working.

Root Cause SSID were unable to connect however both SSID were visible on the end user system.All

symptoms leads for to hit the bug CSCuj58556: ap3500 lose names & configs w/ failover, malloc failure in NSI

Actions Needed WLC software need to be upgraded with latest version to resolve the known issue,
