Instruction and Learning Standards Guidelines

Designed through collaboration among teachers, school chiefs, administrators, and other experts, the standards provide a clear and consistent framework for educators. Common Core Website

The purpose of the Illinois Standards Aligned Instruction for Libraries (I-SAIL) document is to empower, educate, and encourage school library information specialists to plan strategically with other teachers to incorporate information literacy skills in lessons and thereby provide college and career readiness for students. World History Collaboration

75% of students reported increased comfort with technology. 82% of students scored higher on final bibliography. Teacher reported greater knowledge of tech resources amongst her World History classes than previous years.

The school library information specialist is actively involved on school and district-wide committees as a curricular leader and participates in professional organizations
